Could be better. I am glad I had a professional re-write my resume because it is certainly better compared to the original version. That being said, I did not think it was worth the money. The consultant spent 7 minutes talking to me to understand what I wanted, sent me a bunch of questions asking me to quantify my achievements, re-wrote and left out a lot of important details relating to my field of work. I re-wrote a lot of it and the consultant was kind enough to check and validate.

I liked the Resume writing service with Beth. She was to the point and precise and asked the right questions and got things done with a very clear approach and managed my expectations well. I didn't find any of the other things to be very useful and there were a few scheduling snafus which could have been handled better.

The resume I got was beautiful, but not functional with sites like Ziprecruiter or Indeed. The initial phone call from my resume writer was rushed. She talked so fast, I could barely understand her. She suggested changes to my LinkedIn page, but I didn't understand what she meant. When I asked for clarification, she spat back to me exactly what she said originally. At that point, I dropped it. Included in the package was a coaching call, which ended up just being a sales pitch for a career coaching. I was not interested. I went with one of the less expensive companies (if $347 is less expensive) and I regret it. I should have gone with someone local or had more understanding of my industry. I'm sure The Job Sauce would be a great choice for someone in a mainstream industry, but not for anything slightly obscure.
