As described below, this was not a smooth process; however, after receiving a full refund from The Jacket Maker they insisted on providing my jacket as a customer service satisfaction effort. The jacket arrived about one week later and is really nice. It fits well and was just what I was looking for. Thanks to Fred and Shawn for taking care of this! Was a little leery of this company based on the inexpensive costs; however, I did some research and decided to order with them. Unfortunately, as some of the reviews I read stated, their customer service was extremely slow and not particularly helpful. I provided all of the measurements required and all were taken based on their instructions. A week later, I received an email asking for more/new measurements as the ones I provided indicated my jacket size would be 6XL. Keep in mind, I'm average size and weight, but do weight lift which makes my shoulders and arms a little larger than most. Not believing they would provide a jacket that would fit, I asked to cancel the order and for a refund. No response for 5 days. Since I paid via Paypal, I initiated a dispute. Several days later, I received an email from them stating that a refund would be provided once I revoked my Paypal dispute. What a sham. They know if I revoke the dispute that I no longer have recourse against them for a refund should they decide not to provide one. Be very careful with this company. I would not recommend.

I ordered a custom jacket and bag from this company and paid them (in November 2021). Their marketing on all platform looks polished and high end, but unfortunately once they get the money from you they stop communicating properly. I have sent multiple emails asking them to cancel and refund, but no response (it is February 2022). I shall be lodging further investigations to get my money back. Very disappointing! Update 18 Feb 2022: Sam from The Jacket Maker got in touch with me, he seemed to me as a much more professional individual than other employees at the company. He issued a full refund and offered a discount.

Ordered a jacket online, sadly was not amazing size wise but I was offered a free return or I could pick several other options, such as a discount on getting it tailored to my size. I ended up just returning the jacket as I had found another in the meantime. The shipping to the UK currently takes a while and to return you need to go through a manual process but it does all work, it's just a little slower. This is mainly because the pandemic that has delayed some of their processes. 4 starts instead of 5, because the website and the information can definitely use an update regarding the information. The website says you can expect import charges, while this is not the case for UK and the free return was difficult to find. The note inside the parcel even stated that returning would be at my own cost, but when you contact support it isn't. All in all, good company and from my point definitely trustworthy, but could do with some improvements around communication

Update: Customer service responded to my review, offered a partial refund, and expedited the jacket which I received in late February. The jacket is good quality and fits very well. _____________ I placed my order for a made to order jacket on Dec. 11. After not receiving any form of confirmation, I inquired about the order status on Dec. 19. Only then did they tell me they needed to confirm the measurements. I gave the confirmed measurements on December 25. It’s now February and still no update, no jacket, and not even a tracking number. Seems like you shouldn’t order custom jackets from this company. They take your money and give you nothing.

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Jack Black Leather Biker Jacket from The Jacket Maker. It is of course early days and only worn a couple of times but I like the jacket and enjoyed the order experience. I did not go with a custom fit but chose a medium. The fit is so great it is hard to imagine a custom jacket fitting any better. I am not an expert on leather but am satisfied with the construction and materials. I am so happy with the purchase I am looking for reasons I need multiple leather jackets. The "worst" part of my experience was trying to figure out which of the great looking jackets I wanted to purchase.

Placed an order with custom size jacket, promised to deliver in 4 weeks but they took 8-10 weeks. Size is perfect - 5 Star Quality - 4 Star, corners are not properly stiched Problem with Zip, Not smooth. Getting stucked looks like cheap quality fake YKK zipper Customer Support - 1 Star (delay in response) Price- 3 Star Delivery - 5 Star Update: Shawn will refund 20$ for fixing Zipper locally.

I ordered a jacket on Nov 29, 2021. The money was immediately taken from my bank account. I did not receive an order confirmation or number. I had to email customer support asking for the number which was provided. They said at that time my order should ship in 5-10 working days (no later than Dec 10). On Dec 16 I asked for an order status. 4 days later, on the 20th they said my order would not arrive before Christmas but expect it no later than Jan 8th. On Jan 4th I asked if the order had shipped, no response. On Jan 8 I asked again, no response. Finally on Jan 12 I was given a $20 refund as an apology and told the jacket would ship within a week (by Jan 18). NO JACKET. I reached out again on Jan 22 warning I would take action if I did not receive the jacket or a refund. Today is Jan 28, NO JACKET, NO REFUND.
