They may not have found the designated hiding places quick enough. :( Nevertheless, we hope you're enjoying the newest additions to your aquarium. Hi Charles; Thank you for your feedback. We're very sorry you were disappointed in the size of your Cichlids. You had ordered mostly juveniles and they run between 1.5 to 2 inches. We're quite sure that with optimal tank conditions and a healthy diet, the will grow quickly and show their distinctive colors and markings.
