I was very apprehensive about ordering fish from so far away (I'm in California). UPS dropped the ball a bit and the package arrived later than expected, but the fish were packed so well that they were all fine. The discus are gorgeous, happy, and healthy. The customer service is outstanding.

one discus died shortly after it was put in an isolation tank. All the fish were about quarter coin size, not the 2 to 2.5 inches advertised

Hello John, Our juvenile Discus are listed as 1.5 -2 inches and can range anywhere in that size range. We're sorry you were disappointed in their size. With a healthy diet including frozen blood worms they grow quickly and display their brilliant and distinctive colors. Beyond our Live Arrival Guarantee, we will typically work with our customers that experience a fish perishing shortly after acclimation. When notified, we will need to know the appearance and behavior of the fish as well as the tank parameters and tank mates. A photo also helps. We make every effort to rectify the situation so your overall experience with us a good one. I have received more than 3 dozen discus from Ifish, all nice healthy fish. I just received an order of a dozen discus and because of sitting in an ups truck in subzero weather until late in the evening most of them perished. These fish were packaged and shipped perfectly and perished through no fault of Ifish. Upon notifying Frank at Ifish he said he would replace the whole order after the holidays when ups can deliver more promptly. The integrity and costumer service of this business as unmatched in this industry and I would recommend them to anyone. I think this is above and beyond what any other fish seller would do. 2 of the 3 discus I ordered are doing great. One didnt make it during shipping.. Emailed a picture of the perished fish but never heard back.

At times, depending on which of our email platforms we use, our communications sometimes end up in SPAM folders.
