Took over a week for shipping and all three crayfish were dead when they arrived. Will go inside of a pet store from now on

All the fish (6) arrived alive last Wednesday, but one of them arrived with what appeared to be fin rot (snakeskin discus). Unfortunately, I didn't discover this until it had been in the tank for a day. I immediately quarantined the sick fish, but alas, it was too late....the entire tank began showing various symptoms of illness (12 total discus ). I immediately treated the tank (an unexpected substantial expense on a 120 gallon tank) and have been able to save only 5 discus (3 of my originals - yellow Marlboro, snakeskin, red Marlboro, - and 2 new arrivals - blue diamond, snakeskin). None of those that died showed signs of fin rot, but they all darkened and became very mucusy before dying. The original discus with fin rot (one of the 5 current survivors) is still in quarantine. I'm hoping I don't lose anymore.
