Hello Frank; We are sorry to hear that 9 out of 12 of your cichlids perished since receiving them on January 26th. All of our juvenile cichlids are listed as ~2 inches and do run from 1.5 - 2.0 inches as you stated. We have been shipping these juvenile cichlids for quite some time successfully. They are a hearty fish and typically do very well. That being said, we understand that ich is a rather insidious illness and can sometimes lay dormant with no visible signs until the fish are stressed. Our Live Arrival Guarantee is pretty comparable to other online providers. Although some LPS' may have a 2-week guarantee, we just can not extend the same coverage. However, we do like to work very closely with our customers when they contact us after acclimating their fish and they are confronted with a problem. We very often can provide support in re-establishing the health of the fish, determining the root cause and when necessary, provide a credit on a future order. But we can only engage in this approach if the customer notifies us of a problem at the onset. We would have been happy to assist you as things were unfolding in your separate tank where the cichlids were housed. We're very sorry this was your experience with us and do hope you will be willing to give us another try knowing, should there be a problem, we will work with you if you reach out to us,

Hello Reggie; Thank you for your feedback. We list our juvenile Discus as ~2 inches and they can range in size from 1.5 - 2.0 inches measuring from tip of nose to end of tail. We're sorry to hear that one has perished and one still appears smaller in size after 3 weeks. We typically feed our Discus frozen bloodworms and keep tank pH and temperature very steady. Would you say that the smaller Discus and/or the one that perished are/were getting their fair share of food? There is always the possibility that one Discus is just smaller in size but we like to take a look at all other possibilities. We wish your experience was a better one, hope the rest of the Discus are doing well and appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback.

Hello Andy; We wish we could decipher your review a bit better to understand what happened with your 2 Invertebrates. We aren't sure at this point if they perished during shipping or after some time in your tank. We genuinely use our reviews as part of our customer service efforts and as a way to continually improve our operations. Hello Christina; We're sorry your experience with us wasn't a better one. We were glad that you immediately contacted us to let us know that one of your fish had perished during shipment and we were happy to issue a refund. We weren't made aware of the appearance of ich. That one email was the last that we heard from you. We really do like to work with our customers when they are confronted with significant problems after receiving our fish. We would have liked to have been notified again when you saw problems with the fish to assess the situation and work through the problem. Again, we wish your experience with us was a better one and hope that you might reconsider using us again in the future.

Hello Daniel; In looking back at our email communication, you had reported that 3 fish had perished in transit. We emailed you back asking if you would like a refund or a credit on a future order for them. However, we never heard back from you. And now we see in your review that in total, 10 of your 20 fish perished. We genuinely like to work with our customers when there are issues but we can only do that when we are notified. We're glad that you liked the coloring and size of the fish and really would have liked to work with you to get to the root of the problem with them perishing. Thank you for your feedback.
