I learned a lot during and even more now, after completion. It took me beyond healthy eating. I am now more attuned to what my body is telling me, if I pay attention to it. Dr Axe approach has opened my eyes to what else I can do to support my body as I age, which is important since I am 75 years old and have beaten cancer three times, including my most recent bout with stage 3 ovarian cancer. I joined because I wanted to clean out and repair the damage caused by going thru 6 rounds of chemo therapy. My oncologist said there was a 90% chance of the cancer returning and she wanted to put me on IMUNOTHERAPY. My numbers looked good so I said no for now. I wanted to give this life style and my body a chance to continue to heal itself. 3 months later MY test results came back. I am cancer free, NO signs of any mestastic disease in either my body or blood. I haven't felt this well in a VERY long time. it has been a year and my numbers are still good and I still feel amazing and chemical free. Thank You Dr. Axe and your amazing team for giving me my life back! Your expertise in the naturalpathic medicine is amazing. You walking us through each phase of healing was so helpful. Taking us beyond healthy eating to showing us how to heal. Going back thru some of your video clips, now that I am done with the formal part of the program, I'm growing even more. understanding at a deeper level. Is it expensive, yes, but how much are you spending on other MD visits? It is worth the money, if you use all the resource available to you. Practioners, video call videos, chats, coaches, etc. to mention just a few.

I had an initial consult with Susan and she was awesome! I felt listened to, like she really cared about me and my needs. It wasn't just another salespitch. Susan took time to go through my symptoms and what I was struggling with. She explained reasons why and how Dr Axe could help. I believe in the program and it makes sense to me!

Gabriela was fantastic. Compassionate, knowledgable and she eased my anxiety. She was great at breaking down my results and explaining what it meant. The whole first part of my call was her getting to know more about me, my health and my goals.

I am SO thankful for Dr. Axe and the Health Institute. I responded to one of their Instagram ads for a discounted bloodwork panel, wanting to just try SOMETHING since I had been dealing with a laundry list of unresolved symptoms since my teens (I'm now late 20s). My biggest symptoms have been fatigue, poor sleep, brain fog, and digestive issues. I'm not even at the end of the program, and I have already seen a huge increase in my energy levels, mood, etc. So many of my symptoms have been halved or disappeared entirely! I had worked previously with a functional medicine practitioner and had been very disappointed. She seemed as confused by my symptoms as I was, and discouraged her patients from reaching out with questions outside of appointments by hefty fees. Working with the Health Institute has been SO different. My practitioner (Sandy!!) is great (very personable and knows her stuff!) and there is a wealth of well-explained information to explore within the program. I love how accessible the team is for questions and concerns and how much support they provide in starting the new lifestyle they promote, through recipes, classes, etc. I've been so excited about what I've been learning through this program, and feel as though I've made a valuable investment. It was a lot of money for me out the gate, but I know that I'm setting my body up for long-term success. The treasure trove of knowledge that they pass on during the program also enables you to sustain good habits even after the program, because you understand the WHY.

Dr Axe's program and protocols are truly life-changing. I've gone from hopeless to feeling so much better - and hopeful! Before this program, I didn't think I had much room to improve my health. I have a history of autoimmune issues and cancer. I also have strange things going on in my body, like low-performing kidneys on a blood test but good kidney bloodflow/health on ultrasound. Unlike my medical doctors/specialists, Dr Axe doesn't pile on a cocktail of prescription drugs with all sorts of unwelcome side effects. He gets to the true root cause - it's a gradual process with focus on 'progress over perfection' which is so refreshing! I am blown away by how subtle changes in thinking and goals can bring an overall sense of peace and well-being. Dr Axe has found a way to make getting healthy achievable without the general anxiety and angst I've become accustomed to as I've navigated health issues over the years. I no longer feel like I need to be a martyr to perfectionism or the 'type A personality' to feel like I'm on the road to relevance and success. Doing things Dr. Axe's way makes success far more reasonable and enjoyable for both my family and me. I am still early in the program, but so far, my two favorite improvements are the ability to think clearly and the calm I feel in my gut. Honestly, the calm in my gut has taken some getting used to. In a way, it feels quite strange, which is a little unnerving. However, Dr. Axe's program doesn't stop at physical health but mindset health also. I have heard for years about 'mindfulness'. It made absolutely no sense to me. I tried and tried, but figured 'it wasn't my thing'. This program doesn't push 'mindfulness' per se. It frames things in such a way that mindfulness comes naturally without being forced. Before I knew it, I was being mindful - I finally 'get it'! That is what has helped me to adapt to a calm gut. It feels wonderful, but my body was ready to go into full sabotage because of how unfamiliar it felt. Dr Axe and his team are the best!

I would give it a -5 if I could. The portal and website are useless and hard to navigate. Finding the "help ticket" portal is impossible. Once you do submit for help 1 in 3 times do they get it and reply...5 days later. I hated this program. And I paid a small fortune for 2 blood test AND NO ONE will help me understand them. I can't express how much I HATED this program. **UPDATE: They have replied to my tickets and explained my blood test. However if you buy a blood test and do it after your program is up YOU WILL GET NO REPORT BACK. They will not send it to you. The only way to get test results is to be a member of his Concierge program at $79 a month.
