The sales person led me to believe I would have success getting off my thyroid medication and that did not happen. I have had Hashimoto’s thyroiditis diagnosed 13 years ago. My practitioner was excellent! There was a lot of good information. I have been researching and seeing physicians all over the world over the past 15 years and it was not new information to me. I imagine it will be helpful information to most of the general population though.
Response from The Health Institute With Dr. Josh AxeJan 19, 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your thoughtful feedback and are glad to hear that you found your practitioner excellent and the overall educational content valuable! We’re genuinely sorry for any misunderstanding that occurred during your initial consultation. Our programs are designed to provide education, insight, and supportive strategies around cellular and whole-body health—not to diagnose, treat, or guarantee outcomes such as discontinuing prescription medications. Decisions around thyroid medication, especially in the context of long-standing Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, should always be made in partnership with your physician. That said, we understand how disappointing it can feel when expectations and outcomes don’t align, particularly after years of dedicated effort and research. Your feedback is important, and we take it seriously as we continue to refine how we communicate the purpose and scope of our programs. We truly appreciate your balanced perspective and your acknowledgment that the information may be helpful for others earlier in their health journey. We wish you continued clarity and support as you move forward in a way that best serves your health. With respect, The Health Institute Team
