My picky dog loves all three varieties
My picky dog loves all three varieties. I like that it doesn't need to be stored in the refrigerator or freezer. The long spoon that is enclosed in each subscription box is a nice touch as well and perfect for getting everything out. I only wish there was a chicken or some type of fish option.

My German Shepherd is a very picky…
My German Shepherd is a very picky eater and gets tired of her food quickly. So far she hasn't rejected Happy Howl but does not seem as eager to eat as when I first switched her to HH. She is not overweight and gets plenty of exercise. I currently mix 1/2 box HH with equal amount another high quality frozen product. Overall I have found HH to be consistent in quality, a little "greasy" in texture. But her poops are good and she is healthy and as long as she keeps eating it I will continue buying it.

I was so excited to give this food a try, knowing it was a WAY better option than kibble. Unfortunately, my little guy seems to have a very sensitive tummy. After consulting with a holistic vet, she thinks at this time he’s having a hard time processing carbs. So, unfortunately, I cannot continue Happy Howl at this time. I do hope that once we heal his gut and everything settles down, perhaps we can incorporate this option back into his diet.

Thank you so much for giving Happy Howl a try! We’re truly sorry to hear your pup’s tummy hasn’t been feeling its best. Sensitive digestion can be so tough to navigate, and we completely understand your decision to step back for now. We’re glad you’ve partnered with a holistic vet to get to the root cause, and we’ll be cheering your little guy on as he heals and strengthens.
