Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

My three dogs are crazy for Happy Howl food, especially my picky eater. It both looks and smells good, and I love that I don't have to refrigerate or freeze the food. I'm very happy with Happy Howl!

My dog loves it & I feel better knowing they are eating better food with no preservatives/additives so they can remain healthy as they age.

My dog began to lose interest in the food about a week in and then she vomited up the food twice. But my biggest issue was with their customer service. They inundated me with emails containing discount codes and examples of how doing a subscription would save me money. The email with the discount code I used specifically gave a 40% discount AND still said 30 day money back guarantee. However, when I reached out the their Customer Service, I was told orders using a discount code weren't eligible for a refund. They basically scam you into a position where you can't get a refund.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration. Your dog’s reaction and the issues with customer service are not what we want for any of our customers. Liked shelf stable, human grade and easy to portion but my dog seemed to become lethargic and his fur texture changed and wasnt as soft as it was before we started Happy Howl (was on it for 4 months). I am bummed as i liked the formulas but now that he has been on a different brand within a week his energy has returned and his fur soft again.

We’re very sorry to hear that Happy Howl didn’t work out for your dog. 🐾 We understand how disappointing it can be when a food affects your dog’s energy or coat. We appreciate you sharing your experience, as it helps us continue to evaluate and improve our recipes for all pups.

The auto ship can be a problem. It was arriving on time and before food would run out then all of a sudden it’s no longer arriving on time and it would be 2-3 days after the previous order was gone. Attempted to ask about it and was told I can log in and click ship now if I needed the food sooner. Why would I log in each time on an auto ship that defeats the purpose of auto ship. Felt this is not great customer service. The product is good the dog loves it. Just a pain to deal with the shipping issue.
