Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

I first heard of Happy Howl on Big Guy Littles World Sanctuary page and was given some by my sister. I could not believe the reaction my two Chihuahuas had to it. They loved it. I started with a small order to make sure they like the assortment and have since graduated to the 36 count box. They have loved every flavor. I fix their bowls and when they see me with them, they run to where I feed them and lick their bowls clean. I have to give one of my kids medicine so this is a perfect way to know she gets it. Very pleased with the product.

That’s such a heartwarming story — thank you for sharing it! 💙 We’re so happy your Chihuahuas are loving every flavor and that Happy Howl has even helped make giving medicine easier. Knowing mealtime brings them excitement (and clean bowls!) is exactly why we do what we do. We’re grateful to Big Guy Littles World Sanctuary for spreading the word and even more grateful to have you and your pups in the Happy Howl family! 🐾

I changed my 36 boxes to 18. I even checked two times to make sure it was changed and was going to be delivered on the same date. This change was done way before the next delivery. They told me it was changed to late when I called to say it didn't arrive. So no food for the dogs. I had to run out and buy food. Sorry but that is wrong and almost never can talk to someone. So I cancelled my whole account. I will find another company. After reading some of your reviews I see you have problems.......

We’re so sorry to hear about your recent experience and completely understand your frustration. The last thing we ever want is for you to feel let down—or to be left scrambling for food for your pups. We looked into your account, and while the change request was submitted, it unfortunately wasn’t processed in time for your upcoming order. We are continuously working to improve our system so that changes like yours are reflected quickly and accurately, and so that you can always feel confident your pups’ food will arrive when you need it. While we’re sad to lose you as part of the Happy Howl family, we truly appreciate the time you gave us, and your feedback will help us do better for other pet parents. Please know that if you ever decide to give us another try, we’d love the chance to make it right.

I have been feeding my Chi this product for years. My dog is 13 years old and acts Like a 3 year old. I believe it is due to Happy Howl dog food that she is still doing so well as a senior dog.

More variation in flavors is needed and the package needs to be scrapped and redone, it's a pain to open and get the contents out.

This is the best food for my chihuahua. She is a super picky girl but gobbles down happy howl like she's eating a steak. It's been great for her weight management and does wonders for her whole body.
