Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

Order arrived sooner than I expected. Product was well packed and in good condition. I’ve only been feeding for a couple of days, but so far my Bailey loves it.

My dog use to eat freshpet but sometimes it would just sit in his bowl. Now with Happy Howl he runs to his bowl to say hey...where's my dinner.

My goldendoodle loves the food. It is convenient and easy to store. My only suggestion would be that the beef stew be thicker. It is very soupy and I usually pour it over other food to make it more solid.

My Poppy LOVES Happy Howl! She used to be a grazer with her food but now as soon as I put it in her bowl, she magically appears!
Response from Happy HowlFeb 10, 2026
We love hearing that Poppy went from grazer to teleporting to the bowl the second Happy Howl hits it. Clearly, she knows what’s up.

Good customer service! Letting customers know that they were going to be short on product and allowing existing customers to fill first, was great.

Transparency is important to us, and we always want to take care of our existing customers first. We’re so glad you felt supported and informed, that means a lot to our whole team.

I'm quite happy with this product. My 2 dogs both love it and one is a picky guy, and when I feed them I can tell by the look and smell that the quality is far better than the cans I used to use. My picky dog actually moans in anticipation of dinner now when it's being served, and that says a lot. I am about 2 months into the change and I recommend it.

We truly appreciate the recommendation and are so glad Happy Howl has become dinner-time excitement in your home!

live customer service seems to continue to be a problem. i spoke with an agent (?Bot?) that said it would fix the payment glitches, and two days later I get a note saying i have to go in to delete and fix the payment glitches. that delayed shipment by two days. shipment notifications are never accurate. the website is NOT easy to manage account. that said, the food is very good and i am TRYING to stick with it, but its frustrating.
Response from Happy HowlFeb 10, 2026
We’re glad to hear your pup is enjoying the food, but we completely understand how frustrating these account and payment issues can be. Accurate shipment notifications and smooth account management are important, and it sounds like we missed the mark here. If you are still experiencing issues please feel free to call, text or email us!
