Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

My dog is the pickiest dog I've ever had. She won't touch any regular canned dog food and doesn't eat much dry dog food. So I found happy howl and ordered a sample pack. She loved all 3 packs! She devoured them!
Response from Happy HowlFeb 20, 2026
We’re thrilled that even your picky pup loved all three flavors from the sample pack, devouring every bite is the ultimate compliment!

My three Boston Terriers love Happy Howl. Two of the three are very, very picky and have eaten my home made food since they were puppies. I was expecting some hesitation at the very least. I was wrong. They loved it. Ate every bit. All flavors. Rating from BB, Otis, and Brandy...10/10!!

I ordered after seeing their Facebook ad that mentioned the discount in the same sentence as it mentioned the money-back guarantee so, "you have nothing to lose!" per the person in the video.....but wait, the guarantee is only if you did not order with a discount and a slew of other silly things that basically for all purposes voids the guarantee....I have seen many companies doing this and for me it is false advertising. If they are going to offer a guarantee and a discount in the same sentence then it should be made clear in the video that if you take the discount it voids the guarantee.
Response from Happy HowlFeb 20, 2026
To clarify, our money-back guarantee applies only to orders purchased at full price and does not apply when a discount or promotion is used.

My dogs and I both love Happy Howl! One is a super picky eater and she scarfs it down! I love the convenience and no preservatives. One box is exactly one meal for my 4 littles. I buy in the 96 quantity and the price comes down. I used to cook for them, that got old within about 6 months. We are Happy Howlers!!!!
Response from Happy HowlFeb 20, 2026
It’s fantastic that even your super picky eater is scarfing down Happy Howl, and we’re thrilled that the convenience, preservative-free quality, and perfectly portioned boxes make life easier for you. Buying in bulk is such a smart move, and we’re so happy to have you and your pups as part of the Happy Howl family, Happy Howlers indeed!

The food is top notch!! When I open the box it smells as if I need to get a spoonful for myself! My extremely picky, 6 lb. Maltipoo just gobbles it down, so that’s all the confirmation I need that it great food! And the most important thing to us is that your company doesn’t even OFFER a chicken recipe so there is no chance of cross-contamination. Score!! Keep up the good work! Jennie & Atticus

We’re thrilled your picky Maltipoo loves Happy Howl, gobbling it down is the best confirmation we could ask for. We’re glad you appreciate our commitment to avoiding chicken recipes for safe, worry-free feeding.

My dogs love the food and seem to be doing well using half Happy Howl and half high quality kibble twice daily. I also use a powder supplement for added nutrition for their skin and coat. We are very happy with the quality and convenience of Happy Howl. The only thing that we struggle with is the cost. We have big dogs and we are on a fixed income and aren't able to feed all Happy Howl as their meals.
Response from Happy HowlFeb 20, 2026
We’re thrilled your dogs are enjoying Happy Howl, even as a mix with high-quality kibble, and that you’re seeing benefits for their skin and coat with the added supplement. A great option is our bulk packs, which are sold at a discounted rate and work perfectly for big dogs or households with multiple dogs. This can make feeding Happy Howl more manageable while still giving your pups the wholesome, high-quality meals they love.
