Ordering was easy & delivery was quick! Very important with a small business.

Our little group is new to ordering oils online, we usually just go to a soap store in town but then realized we were paying way more money that way and since we were getting more and more customers, we thought we should shop around. I place fragrance oil orders with several companies, this one included, in an effort to compare quality and value. By far, The Flaming Candle is our number one choice so far! The value is great and the fragrances we have tried are much stronger and longer lasting than any other company we have tried so far! Customer service is also excellent!

Lousy company with worst customer service. I ordered a sample pack of oils. The box arrived soaked in oil from two bottles which had not been properly sealed. Most of remaining bottle labels came off due to leaking oil. There is no way to determine which oil is which. I emailed detailed photographs of the box and oil damage. After back and forth emails, customer service wanted each bottle put on a scale and photographed so they could determine exactly how much oil leaked from a sample bottle. I requested a return and refund. They stated the company does not process returns or refunds.

Quickly shipped

Disgraceful. I ordered 7lbs and paid shipping on an oil called North Pole. It arrived labeled as North Pole (peppermint vanilla) but is bottled with a sickly sweet bourbon fruit smell. Not to mention it took MONTHS for them to get back to me, now they’re telling me they don’t accept returns. You don’t accept returns when you completely miss the mark? This is only one of the issues. My previous orders have had missing product, and arrived months after ordering. I’ve already identified dupe oils from other suppliers and will be ordering from those here on out. You did it to yourselves indie made brands, you could have taken the high road and admitted fault and taken care of your customers.

Timely manner and no leaks this company is the best

They seem to be turning things around after months of chaos and destruction. I am only just testing the waters in small doses because I have moved on to other suppliers to replace most of what I used from TFC. There are a few FO that I wasn’t able to replace so I was resolved to bend a whole new direction. But I decided to see if the storm had passed. The order was shipped at a more reasonable time frame, no where near as fast as before when they were owned by the previous owners in GA but they really set the bar low after the mess they created. The oils came in one piece and not leaking. I forgot to add a sample oil to my order and in the past the previous owners would always still include one of their choosing, so be sure to pick one because they didn’t add one themself. So my best advice is to proceed with caution but it does appear they have a few things figured out.
