The Epoch Times and NTD have done more than any other news media to save America from becoming a third world banana republic. Both sides of my family go back to the American Revolution , they all thank you and I thank you.

I like the diversity of articles and the opinion section of the hard copy. The Life and Tradition sometimes has what I consider fluff pieces on health that play to hope versus science.

Great source for news with a common sense perspective - not parroting the mainstream storyline. I also enjoy the thought provoking stories on health, fun games online, and the Life & Tradition section.

It's a good paper. Does it lean right-yes. But the 1 star reviews are from crazy angry left wing Nazi Fascists (The left are the real fascists). They believe MSNBC is a real news network, and think AOC is a genius. They want ALL media (not just the 90% they already have) to feed the far left crazy propaganda machine. Unless you are a far left wing nut case who hates Jews, loves Hamas and men in women sports, wants open borders and fraud and waste in government any opinion you may have that is the least bit contrary gets drown out in mindless far left rhetoric.

First, I love the Epoch times and some of its contributors for articles and for TV are my favorites. I have found their contributors to be honest and fact-finding and I love them for it. However, their subscriptions practices are horrible! they trick people into subscriptions they don't want and then have a non-refundable clause in their Terms of Service. I unfortunately signed up for a $1 a week subscription and was thrilled. I figured I would not get much becasue it was so cheap, but it was a way to give back for some of the content I received. There are many good sites out there and I purposely do not get subscriptions unless super inexpensive becasue I would be paying thousands just to support them all. I do the free with advertising or the $1 a week stuff. So after a short while at $1 a week, I got a bill in pay pal for a years subscription! I contested and then blocked them on pay pal. They then began the offer of the $1 a week and stupid me--I accepted. I noticed a $99 charge on my cc card and it was them! I reach CS and they claimed to have notified me (lost in my trash box) and claimed that I requested the $99 service a year before. I remember requesting the $1 a week offer. $60 a year. Well, I'm not a credit card Nazi and apparently glossed over last years $99 charge. With a little sleuthing I found that the small print waaaay down at the bottom of the page past lots of other info was the notice that it was introductory and I had fallen prey to the trap! In another review, I noticed that CS wrote, "This model helps us maintain our independence and integrity. We're committed to transparency and clarity regarding our subscriptions." I don't see how they are transparent in their solicitations as it seems dodgy to me, designed to confuse one into reuping without getting a true picture of what you are signing up for. But I do have to amend this review--After my first review (this is my amended 2nd) they reached out to me and were very open. They offered to give me a partial refund and they spent a lot of time explaining their position--which was greatly appreciated on my part. They have some heavy competition in the media world and I do feel for their position. I just love what they offer but it's a choice and since I can't possibly support all the outlets that share my views, I have to pick a few favorites and let it go at that. Media companies are going to have to create a plan that does not include a single individual paying many hundreds of dollars to get news and commentary. I understand how important it is to get the word out about our country and politics--but it is the audience ultimately that has to be understood. It costs too much to support all the good news outlets. I appreciate the Epoch news reaching out to me and I can recommend them on their content 1000%. But subscribing to all you wonderful outlets is not possible for the average joe like me. You need a better business model.

Sehr gute Zeitung, die sich wohltuend von anderen Gazetten abhebt. Auch die Online Ausgabe ist sehr gut und übersichtlich gestaltet.
