Food felt fresh and tasty!!

Questionable business practice I placed an order off this company but am still awaiting for delivery so cannot comment on the taste of the food, however it was NOT made clear on the website that when you made a purchase that you were signing up to a subscription service. The only reason i found out was i noticed it on the receipt they emailed. They don't make it easy to cancel the subscription either. it cannot be done on a mobile phone it has to be done on their website on a PC and they continually ask you if you want to stay rather than just cancelling the subscription.

Not particularly nice food. Seems I have signed up for a weekly subscription. WEEKLY! Who orders 10 meals worth of freeze dried food weekly? Someone who doesn't know they are signing up for a subscription that's who. I had trouble re-setting my password to log in and cancel the subscription and no response when I submitted a webform asking for help. When I emailed them direct, I got a prompt response but unfortunately in that time another unwanted order had gone through.

Add me to the list of people that were underwhelmed with the food and felt like they were tricked into a subscription. I was able to cancel it online, but I had to select "continue to unsubscribe" about 5 or 6 times, where the "continue subscription" button was very big and the "continue to unsubscribe link was just text. I found out I had subscribed when I got the second order I didn't think I had ordered. Damn it. There goes $71. As to the food, it's alright. But man the portions are small. How is eight ounces of water and a bunch of dehydrated powder FOUR SERVINGS? Are you kidding me right now?

A complete and utter scam. I will be referring them to the authorities for signing up one time customers to subscriptions that they have no asked for.

I placed a standalone order in June. The food was pretty bland and tasteless. The main issue is then they charged me again a month later. I didn't sign up to a subscription. They did not send me reminder emails as their website suggests they would have done if I had a subscription, so I had no opportunity to cancel. My order confirmation makes no mention of a subscription. The first indication of the subscription was the second charge on my card. "Customer Service" completely ignoring all these points. AVOID like the plague!

The conception dehydrated food is great but their portion are really small. I've used them a couple and its a hit or a miss with their food. Whatbis really annoying is their business model of subscriptions. Their website is confusing(most likely deliberate) and they allow you to pause subscriptions but not to cancel online. If you pause and forget they will reactivate without giving you much notice. The order just shows up and you're unaware. Customer service is terrible and offer no refund which is how they fleece you.

This has become a major staple of my backpacking pantry. Every mix tastes like somebody's grandma made it and the ease of prep on a single burner camp stove is incredibly welcome.
