Very dishonest business. I thought it would be nice to have a small stock of freeze-dried food, which they delivered just fine. But I like many users was unwittingly placed in their subscription service thinking it was a one-off purchase. And to my horror it was WEEKLY! I could have checked my email, but I have a busy inbox and was also having a rough week, just to have this piled on top. When I complained after managing to find the option to unsubscribe, they essentially just went “oh well, we already shipped it.” Shameless.

Look I'm gonna be honest here, if you can't be bothered to read, leaving a review complaining about signing up for a subscription instead of a one time order is a reflection on you. You should slow down and read. The food itself is pretty good, some of them are more worth the price than others, no doubt. The simmer sauces are especially so. Toss in some protein and throw it over rice and you have good Indian food for WAY less than the cost from the local Indian place with all ingredients known. I have now ordered twice, there was only one thing from my first order that I didn't love but that is a personal preference rather than a knock on the product. I will likely order again once these are gone, and hopefully by then they have a few new offerings.

The food is absolutely delicious and flavorful. The best part is that it only takes a few minutes to make (just add water), and there are no preservatives. I had no issues with my order and was able to cancel my subscription through the customer account portal on their website. They now offer the ability to place one-time orders, so I do that instead.

Same issue. Deceptively subscribed me to a weekly shipment.....claimed I got a warning email two days before shipment which was a lie.....and even though I emailed to cancel 30 seconds after I got the confirmation email they said it had already been sent to the distribution so couldn't be canceled. Certainly not the way to build a business, regardless of what the food tastes like i will never buy again.

I was lured into purchasing a meal box with an offer of discount. I meant to make a one time purhase to try it out but I found out I accidentally signed up for a weekly subscription! I feel tricked into signing up for a subscription I didn't intend. It was maddeningly complicated to cancell the subscription also.

The food is really good. It is a subscription if you use their site. I don't like that I can't speak to a person. I can't remove my payment information either. That includes past cards I've used. I have received the wrong product several times. You can purchase the product elsewhere online, however it's not worth the increased cost in my opinion. If you purchase from them once (the allowed limit without a subscription) be careful because the site is sneaky & will enroll you in a subscription.

Just like other 1 star reviews, I too was hit with the unwitting subscription to food. Yes, the food is decent, but weekly charges when NOT clearly identified as a subscription has proven to be a costly result for me. DO NOT GET SUCKED INTO THIS TRAP!!! It is cheaper to go out to an Indian restaurant and freeze leftovers than deal with these very dishonest business practices.
