the bars taste awful...bitter and almost rancid. i spent $70 and could not choke down one hazelnut bar. so i reached out to the company and ... crickets. If you're dying to try these, buy mine. please. take them off my hands...

I placed an order and immediately realized I didn’t use a 25% off code I had so immediately reached out to cancel. Danielle responded and said she could help with the discount or just cancel the order.i responded that i wanted to cancel the order. (All same day)The next day she wrote that there was already a 10% discount applied and she shipped the chocolate anyway. The chocolate showed up in cheap plastic wrapping (not healthy) and definitely not worth ten freaking dollars each! Save your time and money!

Generally, I love the chocolate, but the new Mint flavored bar is not mint flavored. It doesn't smell or taste like mint. It is simply another chocolate bar, but more expensive. Don't waste your money on the mint flavored bar.

They claim to be the “best” chocolate from a company that truly cares about health, quality, and transparency. But my experience does not match that. About 9 months ago, I asked them for a COA to verify heavy metals testing in their chocolate. The only COA they had available was already about a year old and did not appear to match the actual batch I was asking about. They told me they were aware of the issue and would have updated COAs soon. Fast forward to now: I received an email from them, so I asked again about the COA. They told me it was on the website. It is not. For a company marketing itself around health and quality, this is disappointing. If heavy metals testing matters to consumers, batch-specific and current COAs should be easy to find, not something customers have to chase for months.

I am flabbergasted by the amount of bad reviews here! First question: are they for real? Did they eat the same chocolate as mine? Do they have something against the company itself? Very strange…please do not read those reviews , they are very wrong. How can you throw away a $10 chocolate bar in the garbage? How stupid is that? Even if you don’t like it, offer it to someone who might actually love it or put it in a chocolate recipe or be creative about it. There is definitely something off with all those negative reviews. As to the positive:,this chocolate is so smooth and sooo good , it will be hard to go back to other chocolate bars after but for the price , which is probably the only real negative here. So please, do yourself a favor and do your due diligence, try it and you will be rewarded with a great chocolate experience!

I bought the combination package. All the ingredients in the chocolate bars taste old and stale. Very disappointing. I was very excited to get a great quality chocolate bar based on how they advertise it but got really disappointed. All 7 chocolate bars are sitting on my countertop….. I won’t eat them. I provided them with genuine feedback and video so they can fix their problem. They gave me 50% back, but money is not the issue. It’s produced in Uganda in Africa… hard to control quality of production and ingredients…. top quality ingredients like Almond, dates, …. do not go to the 3rd World countries. They cannot pay what Western countries pay for top quality ingredients. Very simple fact. Problem is fundamental and the company must take control of their production by shipping all top quality ingredients to Uganda.

Worst chocolate I've ever tasted. I regularly eat Ghirardelli 100% Cacao Unsweetened wafers when I bake with them, so, I know what unsweetened cocao should taste like. I don't know WHO the chocolatier is but they're in need of taste buds. These people should be arrested for 'crimes against chocolate'. I fell for the organic and direct trade and all those words. Plus, there's not one negative review on their site. That should have been a 'warning Will Robinson' moment. Don't buy it. I threw 8 bars in the trash, plus I couldn't unwrap them for fear a critter would eat it at the landfill, thereby killing them. Total waste of money.
