I received 10pcs short as of free with my last order, as other promotion at the same time was running to get 10 free on 10, whereas i got promotion of get 5 free on 10, as soon i accepted the get 5 on 10, same day same time

The chocolate taste is actually not as “decadent” as they say it is in the ads. It tastes pretty much like any other luxury high % chocolate bar… which is a little underwhelming for the way they pretend to be out of this world delicious.

To preface this review, I have purchased at least 30 Conscious Bars and have been reading every marketing email for about a year. About the chocolate itself; it's okay. When I first started buying, I loved the idea of zero added sugar. So I enjoyed them very much, even the lack of sweetness had its own charm because it reminded me that my sweet treat wasn't guilty at all. But after a while, I realized that it wasn't for me anymore. Not only because I allow a tiny bit of sugar in my life, but also because I easily found healthy options for 3oz dark chocolate bars that are $6-$7, whilst the 1.8oz Conscious Bars are $10. Major price difference. About the marketing; it's disappointing. Every emails seems to be written by AI. Those of us with proper discernment know what AI writing looks like by now and it's not charming. Aside from that, the contest emails for the new flavor drops are quite frustrating. Since they are not written by a human, it's very difficult for me, a human, to figure out what it's hinting at. The 2 previous contests only had 2-3 winners out of the 10 it should have had. Not to mention, I wrote a feedback email regarding my frustration about this and did not receive a response. So I hope someone truly does read this (a human, not an AI) so that the company can benefit from my words and do better.

The chocolate is not creamy or tasty. It's not very good. I eat dark chocolate and lot, but this isn't enjoyable. Sorry.

Taste exactly how you expect a chocolate bar with no sugar to taste…. Disgusting

Background: I eat one healthy dark chocolate bar per day with lunch, so I am a good customer to have a long-term relationship with. Unfortunately, I've switched away from this company due to dishonest advertising practices. They frequently advertise a promotion to me on Facebook for "Buy 10, Get 5 Free", but clicking the link only produced the promotion once. They continue to advertise the same promotion repeatedly without any disclaimer that it is one-time use, which caused me to waste my time trying to make it work on multiple devices. I also know that they are perfectly capable of stopping promotions that no longer apply, because that's what they did with the initial "Buy 10, Get 10 Free" offer. I contacted customer support and informed them that the FTC had specifically ruled that advertising promotions created a legal obligation to fulfill those promotions, and the customer service rep agreed to place the discounted order for me. However, when I agreed, she ghosted me - yet another case of dishonesty. It's sad because they actually have a very good product. However, I am very committed to only doing business with companies that honor their word, so I've decided to go with Raaka instead. I just wish that this company had more integrity - especially considering that they promote themselves as "conscious." Addendum: More deception. Their reply below indicates that they reached out to me over email and solved the problem. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. They have not responded since they ghosted me after promising to send that order, they have sent no new bars, and no one has addressed any of my concerns since I posted this.

Bad enough the bar is $10 and when I came to order it I was charged for expedited shipping which I didn’t not request. I then tried to cancel or at least receive a discount on the unreasonable shipping charge knowing that the one bar for trial ended up being $17.99, they refused the discounted shipping and the cancellation even though I requested this within the return window of 48 hrs. I could not believe the scam and the horrible service I received in regards to a first time customers. Worst business ethics ever. This Co will never survive at this rate.

I placed an order and immediately realized I didn’t use a 25% off code I had so immediately reached out to cancel. Danielle responded and said she could help with the discount or just cancel the order.i responded that i wanted to cancel the order. (All same day)The next day she wrote that there was already a 10% discount applied and she shipped the chocolate anyway. The chocolate showed up in cheap plastic wrapping (not healthy) and definitely not worth ten freaking dollars each! Save your time and money!
