I purchased TEVA sandals in early March 2021. Despite an initial email confirmation and tracking number - SIX months later they haven’t arrived. I have corresponded several times with someone called Emily and despite saying my purchase was delayed and they would follow up no luck. I don’t expect to see it and when I asked for refund correspondence has stopped. Don’t expect to get money back and regret not checking website reviews before purchasing. 07/09/2021: UPDATE Response from “Emily” assuming I had received sandals & offering a 30% refund. (HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING) I have asked for full refund or send me purchased item…I would advise anyone against buying from TEVA.

I never Got my money back, when i returned the sandals i didnt fit. I followed their return policy and regulations. But they just keep writing me answers about “someone else is on the case or Will look into it” There is NO case. You wrote me in a e-mail, i get my money back within 5 days. Its 1,5 month ago now!

Great hiking sandals, terrible customer service. If you have any issues with your footwear, don't expect to be able to get them fixed or replaced. They're generally built to last but it'll be one and done.

I echo the previous reviews on poor customer service. I live in Sweden and used teva.co.uk customer service as there is a local operator. I ordered my Tirra sandals on line from an reputable outdoor outlet not direct from them- it means one does not get qualify for help from them and the 1 year guarantee is also not valid. My shoes are 2 years (season's) old and my issue is that a thin layer of fabric on the sole (ball area) has worn off leaving the sole a little uncomfortable. I asked for advice but got a standard response 'only interested if your sandals are less than 1 year old and ordered from us'. I simply asked for advice and offered this info for their product development. I got the same response about the 1 year warranty and an order number. If they bothered to read my mails, this info was evident in my first email. I'm obviously wasting my time. To think this is my third pair of Teva's and I have purchased 3 more for family.

I live in Madeira and ordered a pair of sandals in the Portuguese online shop. It said: free delivery. I paid € 100 with my PayPal account and got an email message that my order was cancelled because Teva 'could not verify'' my information. After contacting the support I got standard reply messages. Finally I got a personal message in which I was adviced to place another order with another payment system; I did, and....again I got a message that my order was cancelled. The two creditcard payments are still missing. Behind the scenes and 'polite' mail replies there are refined imposters working.

The slider buckle on the strap does not stay in place. The ribbon strap is thin and rubs a blister. Returning items is a nightmare. Their customer service is awful. What a shame teva

I contacted Teva regarding a pair of Teva Tirra Multi Taupe sandals which I bought at the end of last season to wear this year. I have lost my Proof of Purchase and cannot remember from which online sotre I bought them. Like everyone else, I did all my shopping online last year, so much that I cannot rack down this purchase. I sent photos of the sandals in new condition and explained that they were unworn and a current model. You could see on my foot that the slider buckle would not stay in position because the ankle strap is actually just a flimsy ribbon. I haven't even worn them outside let alone hiking. This ribbon strap is thin and creases immediately turning the slider to a vertical position; this hurst and the sandal is then too loose. Teva Customer Services repeatedly bleated on about Proof of Purchase despite my explaining that I didn't have this but the sandals had an obvious design / manufacturing defect. Where I bought them from is completely irrelevant. They refused point blank to do anything despite the sandals being completely unworn. I weigh 55 kg so the sandals did not have to suffer too much strain on the trip from my sitting room to the kitchen. Glad I haven't tried to wear them in anywhere to taxing like my garden path. So, I have absolutely no faith in them as a company now. Our family has probably bought more than thirty pairs of Tevas over the years. Very poor response. Won't buy from them again.

I saw a documentary on PBS a long time ago about how Teva got started by Mark Thatcher. He knew that a good river shoe was needed and he wanted to make something that was environmentally friendly- a shoe that would not leave a footprint, so to speak. I wanted to re-watch the documentary before I wrote this review but I could not find it anywhere. Anyway, after the bottom of my entire sandal came off and calling the company and discovering that they only warranty their shoes for up to ONE YEAR, even if it's a manufacturer defect, I was very surprised and very perturbed! After researching I found out that he no longer owns the company, it's owned by "Deckers Outdoor Corp.", and Teva sandals are currently manufactured in China and Vietnam! I have not used my sandals that much and for them to come apart like this is ridiculous, and what's worse, they don't stand behind their product and that is SO despicable! When Mark Thatcher gave up his company he should have not let them use the name "Teva", because people think it's still a good company but it's NOT! I'm going to have to try to glue the bottom of my shoe back on, and I will NEVER buy another pair of Teva's again! And if you're smart you won't either! Being made in China and Vietnam, they're probably using child labor- who knows!?!
