Discusting service being fobbed off about a delivery I was supposed to have the first time on 3rd may waited in all day for no show no phone call or explanation for why so then I call and have another delivery date as apparently the was a warehouse fire ?? Which I was not told about at all in any emails or phone calls the first time I called so on Friday I waited in again for the second time for my delivery and yet again no show when I phoned again !they couldn't get hold of any drivers ? Or any warehouse staff or any managers suprise suprise !!!! So therefore because of bank holiday Monday I wouldn't get any information or calls till the Tuesday! So tues by 11am nothing so by now I am fuming on the phone spoken to one lady and to be honest was going rnd in circles so asked to speak to her manager which then gets me no further there in the end now having to re wait till 7th june !to receive a txt or emial if I get one the night before to say when it's comin am/pm that's if it come as she had told me there other customers who have been in same suituation as myself who's had to re ordee up to 5/6 times for there delivery! !!!! Doesn't fill me with great hope at all , I am really angry that they been quite happy to take my £327 bk in April 23rd and yet i am still waiting now for my item garden table and chairs most probably be here winter by the time in arrives !!! Apsolotely diabolical customer care are they having a laugh and I may get a good will jester but won't hear until I get my delivery! !!!! Maybe next yr I also didn't want to cancel as I have read on here people have cancelled and are still waiting for the money up to 5 to 7 days !!! Now that is ridiculous 😠😠😠so thankyou tesco every little helps not!!!!! Definitely last time I will order from them .

I use Tescodirect at least a couple of times at month and have done for the last few years. Their prices are always one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest and you get Clubcard points too. I did have one problem recently, when an item didn't arrive. They were up front about the loss, apologetic and a replacement went out the same day. Highly recommended.

We placed an order for a sofa on 10 April, and accepted that we may have to wait a short while for delivery (for which we were charged an extortionate £25). On 4 May we were informed our order had dispatched and that we should hear from their "trusted third party delivery company" shortly. As their delivery company of choice is Arrow XL, unsurprisingly this was not the case. In fact, nearly a month after the item was supposedly dispatched, we have heard absolutely nothing from the delivery company despite numerous attempts to make contact. Their tracking tool simply says the item is still with the supplier. We have contacted Tesco Direct twice about this order. On the first occasion we were assured Arrow would be in contact within ten working days - this did not happen. The second time we called them, the woman apologised and said she would pass the matter to the Customer Care team who would escalate it. Instead, we received a voicemail the next day saying Arrow would contact us and deliver the order within seven days. Seven days have now passed... nope, no contact, no delivery! I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of service or care from Tesco - at no point has anybody been able to tell us the status or location of our individual order, nor has anybody offered us a shred of compensation. I have completely lost faith in the company and will be pursuing an official complaint.

Ordered barbecue, selected delivery date which was not met. Received text to advise delivery would be following day, but again failed. Called customer service 3 times over 3 days to chase, by this time the product was half price so I decided to cancel. Still no email confirmation of cancellation and order status is ready to despatch. I hope to see my £400 back without having to make contact again. Scrappy service where customers are expected to do all the work, I won't be using them again.

I ordered an armchair on 28/4/17 and booked delivery for today 23.5.17 and took the day off. Got an email from Arrow (suppliers/carriers whatever) yesterday saying delivery 23/5/17 between 7.45 and 9.45. Disposed of old armchair late yesterday and was all ready for the delivery. 10 minutes into the delivery slot get a call from Arrow 'Sorry, item not loaded so no delivery today.' I asked when it would be delivered and was told ' we'll email you nearer the time'. I exploded. Rang Tesco and spoke to a nice lady who advised me that Arrow had problems over the last few weeks with their warehouse. So, why wasn't I informed earlier? Why did I get an email advising two hour delivery slot? If they knew they could not deliver why send the email? I said that my order and, therefore, contract was with Tesco, not Arrow. So I have now cancelled the order and have been told the money will be in my account 3 to five working days. Here I stand with no armchair, no money to pay for another one and totally disgusted with both Tesco for non delivery and Arrow for sheer incompetence. Do not buy large items from Tesco Direct - go elsewhere even if it means paying more.

I have made orders twice from Tesco Direct and each was not satisfactory. The first order I made , I chose delivery , despite the cost , expecting that the item would be delivered within a few days, it ended up arriving more than ten days later, past the date I needed it as a gift for a friend. The second time , I ordered a Lego set for my daughter but chose to pick it up in store next day as I thought this would be more reliable than home delivery. I was given a time to collect and turned up to wait for nearly hour because the staff said the delivery was being unloaded only to find my item wasn't on it. I had to ring customer service to check twice before it finally arrived three days after it should have done. Considering the size of the company you would expect just alittle more efficiency and customer consideration, and ordering on the website is as slow as the delivery. It may have variety and some cheap prices, but the hassle isn't worth the price.

On purchase of bedroom furniture 8 deliverys and a house full of fire wood what should have been final try turned up today via arrow xl boxes in bits furniture again damadged rang tesco told yet another to be delivered weds another day of lost earnings £720 so far lost more than purchase price and am still sleeping on floor and wardrobe is my bathtub and loft tesco should be embarrassed at there conduct shame on you

I looked at the 'customer' reviews (or are they real customers?) of a sleeping bag on Tesco direct. The reviews were very good. "I'll buy it" I thought. I bought the product and found it to be at best average quality. Substantially worse than Tesco direct had implied on their website. I wrote a review on Tesco Direct explaining how I felt about the product. Tesco deleted my review. Now I know how the product got such good 'customer' ratings on Tesco Direct. Because Tesco remove the honest, negative reviews.
