Nice at first, then the scam, then the bigger scam, then reality when you talk to david!
Well I needed a telemed really quickly I looked up the reviews it said it was legit. They clearly state 100% satisfaction guaranteed. You sign up for $29 a month for 3 months. When you get them on the phone when you sign up they tell you if you're not satisfied within the first month cancel. Just pay the $29 and you owe anything else. As long as you cancel before the next billing period if you're not satisfied you can cancel mine was due October 30th. I tried to cancel today because not only is it shady you're speaking to people who are not doctors it's a call center they're just using doctors license numbers and sending the script over. I needed a certain medication for thrush they did not prescribe the right dosage but that's the catch you get to visits per month. So after the first week where didn't clear and they said it would clear, they wrote out another prescription and they consider that another visit even though they said it would clear within a week. I said well okay that seems a little odd that they just didn't put a refill but they were so certain that it was going to be clear within a week that I wouldn't need another visit. Of course as you know it goes the week passes by nothing has cleared they just happened to benefit from it, so they up the first days dosage and then lower the dosage for the rest. 2 weeks in not cleared I'm okay with that. I called today to cancel get a man named David clearly not a doctor clearly not a nurse, very nasty, definitely was from a call center because I heard a lot of other phone calls kind of like you here with Amazon and such in the background. I've been around the block I know when something is shady well this guy is nasty as helleven though I was told 100% satisfaction guaranteed he said yes that's true. But the two months will be billed anyways otherwise there's a $50 cancellation fee how is that satisfaction guaranteed? I was not even asking for my money back for the first month I understand looks like they were using chat GPT or WebMD or something to find out the dosage. They definitely are not doctors or nurses that you speak to. Then again this is done in a lot of places especially nowadays. But the rudeness the arrogance, I asked for his last name or ID number he said you're not getting anything there are no supervisors here. We argue back and forth he says listen you're going to pay the $50 fee or keep the next two months I said no I'm not that's not 100% satisfaction guaranteed. He said it is you just got to pay a $50 cancellation fee which is $10 less than keeping me 2 months. Now of course I was livid, I wasn't letting this go I'm not going to let some schmuck from a call center from who knows what country rip me off. I kept on calling back after he hung up on me even though I already have an audio that I recorded of the lady telling me 100% satisfaction guarantee. She said as long as you cancel before October 30th you'll be fine you won't be built for the next two months. And I still have the audio, David says I don't care about the audio you're going to be billed or you can cancel and pay $50. He says I'm just going to hang up on you, so he does, I keep calling back you keep on getting David that's right. The 888 number with all these doctors and nurses guess who you keep on getting David he keeps on hanging up. When David realizes I'm not going to stop because I'm not going to be ripped off, that's not the way a New Yorker reacts when getting ripped off. Just so people know New York is a one-party system so I can record legally and I have it and if it needs to be uploaded I will the show this place is a scam. After 20 minutes of phone calls and getting David and him just hanging up. I finally get an email saying sir we are going to give a one-time courtesy cancellation, your account is now closed, you do not owe any more payments. And a bunch of kissing my butt stop saying how I was an amazing customer you know copy and pasted from chat GPT. So now I am done with them but I have another thing to say and this is where they become super sketchy. I only deal with places that accept Paypal I do not put card onto any place that does not accept PayPal. This is the only place that I did because they did not accept PayPal and over the phone when I talk to the lady they wanted Visa or MasterCard. Not only that I have two Factor authentication with fingerprint as a backup so only PayPal has my information. In 3 years of having this card not one problem yet the first place I give my number to without PayPal nine days later I get a bogus charge on my card coincidence? Can't be I don't think they're charging I think they have horrible security and the numbers are just out there to be stolen. Please be careful! Stay away from this place, they are just a call center somehow getting a medical doctor's license write scripts electronically!
