I’ve been a seller on this platform for over 2 years. After 2 years, there was ONE time I did not ship a $5 order within 48 hours. I got an email from TCG, letting me know to ship within the next 24 hours. Not even 12 hours after that email, they froze my entire account - including all payments for orders that have already delivered. They refuse to release my funds at this point. The order they sent me an email to ship was canceled before the 24 hour window, so there was no order to ship at that point. I have sold over 2000 items on this platform and have 100% positive feedback and yet they won’t release my funds. I will be retaining legal counsel.

TCGPlayer direct orders always have missing cards and they won't even refund you for them until you ask a couple of times. They flagged my account because i complained enough times about their orders. Beware of TCGPlayer direct orders and on general their suboptimal system

I purchased from TCGplayer directly (as the vendor) My package is still "in the mail" a couple months after purchase. I am being told that I can't get a refund or replacement because I didn't address the problem within 30 days of the supposed "delivery date" as a result was told theyre keeping my money, not sending any replacements and told next time to mention it earlier. Keep in mind, the package still says its on its way on the tracker. Absolute Scam. Will never purchase from them again, this is unacceptable.

TCG Player Direct sent me a "near mint" $800 card with deep scratch damage to the face of the card and completely ruined that experience. TCG Player Direct has 11 days of handling time, when asked if they even sent the card yet after 7 days they provide a copy paste response that doesn't answer the question. Sure enough 11 days later I finally see movement on the tracking, I could've ordered the cards from anywhere else and received them in that 11 days. TCG Player itself has gotten much worse. 50% of orders have some issue. Typically 5-10 handling days which is excessive. I'll spend time and effort to reach certain dollar amounts or get all of an order from one seller. And then the seller will cancel half the order and still ship the rest without communicating or asking what I'd like to do. Then I have to spend $1.31 for shipping on a new $0.10 card that they cancelled. Sellers are allowed 14 days to get you a single piece of cardboard and then many sellers still ask you to wait longer. I had one seller argue with me over providing a refund and left him feedback accordingly, TCG Player immediately removed my feedback despite the seller still having my money, not sending my order, and being rude and egging me on to leave negative feedback because they will just get it removed.

Every order I get a partial refund.. can't keep inventory for some reason I guess, but will look for a other alternative. Just little stores around town, who knows what will get refunded when you order here. They give you a 1.00 credit for . 40 card purchase which is the equivalent please try again... I'd rather not. Just go to a local place

I’ve been waiting for my order for three weeks now and just for it to be canceled. I will no longer be using TCG player for orders. Complete waste of my time was getting back into Pokémon and wanted to rip packs and open again as well as collect like the old days. Just for it to be canceled. Would not recommend using this to buy Pokémon cards if you were looking for time wasted.

Tcgplayer is good, but tcgplayer direct always has worse condition cards!!! You are better off buying from new sellers than buying anything Tcgplayer Direct which is a small part of tcgplayer.
