I used this service to send 1099's via mail on 1-22-24. The scheduled date was 1-29-24. Since the deadline is 1-31-24, I have been emailing them every day to get an update on my file. I wanted to know whether or not it has been accepted by the IRS and if they mailed the recipients the 1099's. As of today, no response from them. My files still show that the IRS is processing my file and I should receive notice of acceptance or rejection soon. I didn't have much faith that they mailed the recipient's 1099's, so Jan. 31 I printed and mailed them myself. Also called the IRS to inquire if they had received my file... What a nightmare! Got a response to my 1-30-24 email on 2-12-24 with their apologies. I asked for a refund since I mailed the recipients their copies and also bought the forms and mailed them to the IRS by the deadline. Had they answered me before 2-1-24, I would not have incurred additional expense and time to get the 1099's out by the 1-31-24 deadline. They refused to refund the money since they provided the service but didn't notify me until 2-12-24 that the services were provided. Horrible company, will never use them again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM!

Do not trust this service. They take your money and never follow up. The customer service is absolutely terrible. I filed a couple of weeks ago and the IRS still has not accepted them. I used a different vendor and they were accepted within one day. Too bad they are the only way you can file 10-99's with Quick Books.

If you use this site you better hope everything goes right because it is near impossible in my experience to get in contact with a real life customer service person. I have submitted help requests to their AI bot twice an no one has ever gotten back to me. I'm beginning to think, no one works there and I just threw away my money on this site.

The forms I needed, connected to my Quickbooks, were easily available, complete and ready for my review and corrections, if necessary. There are several avenues to deliver the forms available with the option to choose one or all of the ways to deliver. The fees for the services are extremely cost effective for small businesses who may only need one or a few forms, thus no need to purchase a predetermined package of forms that are not only wasted, but expensive. I am thoroughly pleased with the services available. Additionally, the site provides access to download/print forms sent to the government for records.

I've used tax1099.com for 4 years now and little by little they removed the human support. It is vital to be able to reach a person because of the integration with QBDT. There is no phone support. Emails, which was one of two ways to reach them went undelivered to their support@ address. Showed up 3 or 4 days later. And chat was a joke. They cut and paste knowledge base articles for you to figure it out. And stop responding when they don't what else to do. Do not use them unless they change back to human support.

Easy to understand and complete at a reasonable price.

Customer service is through email, very poor way to run a business. Software is clunky and had a completely different look and dashboard when I logged in, apparently two versions? Worst of all it appears that they sent my social security number to the recipient who is a known criminal!! Yet his social was not shown except for last four digits! Makes no sense. This may take me years to sort out as my SS number will likely be on the black market now.
