Their software is buggy. What works one day does not work the next. I could add a contractor one day but a few days later the button does not work. There is no phone or text support. You must email them your questions. I did and I am still waiting for an answer. When I asked the company to email the 1099 to my contractors they force them to set up an account to get the 1099. That is insane. It pissed them off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Have used them for at least the last 5 years. Customer service is trash now. Simple question that was not answerable in the FAQ's could have been addressed right away and saved me hours of manual entry this year but their continued canned responses and finally when I got a real human their answer was literally "oh, its too late now." You will have to do it manually. Welp if you could have provided the customer service I needed it wouldn't have been "too late"

Would not recommend this service for my worst enemy. Support is only through chat. The customer support reps just constantly refer you to the FAQ page rather than address your specific needs. I had an issue with their data import function. I filled out their excel template correctly, per the instruction of their Chat Support agent. The data imported incorrectly however the subsequent support agent I chatted with said the necessary changes could not be done through their platform and I had to contact the IRS directly to make the changes through the IRS. This is crazy as my company used Tax1099's TCC & FIRE IRS numbers to file (lookup TCC & FIRE on IRS website for more info regarding e-filing 1099's). My experience with Tax1099 was a nightmare. Find another vendor.

TIN match, W-9 and 1099-MISC filing was much easier to use with Tax1099. Kinda came as a bundled platform where I could do all, instead of 3 vendors that I was using in the past. Will come back to file 1099-NEC in Jan 2021

Customer Service is not great. Chat only, no phone support starting with 2019 filing. Took them two hours on chat to finally get resolution to a simple TIN issue.

Tax1099 is simple enough to file my few 1099s. I don’t have to buy those 20 packs Adams form from Sam’s club anymore and struggle to align those forms with my printer.

Great product features and saw a lot of value where I could push my QuickBooks desktop data to Tax1099.com for 1099 and W-2efiling.
