we are doing TIN searches throughout the year & filing 1099s once a year. One thing I would like to constructively be critical of is your live support. At times it feels that they simply repeat the question & not really provide an answer. It's almost like bad AI responses. Anyway, the rest is mostly good. The date of experience is approximate.

I like tax1099.com BUT....
I like tax1099.com because it allows me to easily file forms 941 and 940. The only thing I need tax1099 to change is the Team and Scale plans. They don't do what they seem to say they do via their names and online descriptions. I cannot have another user prepare a 941 for a company that I have already prepared a 941 for previously. There is no "team" functionality.

We have been using Tax1099 for years
We have been using Tax1099 for years. It has always been intuitive, but with the updated graphics, it is better than ever. If you need to issue limited numbers of forms, I highly recommend this product.

I really like using Tax1099 but concerned...
I really like using Tax1099 but am a little leery now as the last 3 clients W-2s that I filed did NOT get to the IRS. I paid for Tax1099 to file them but ended up having to fax those to the Social Security Office myself. Last month a client called and told me their employee was told by the IRS that they would not send his refund as their W-2 had not been received. So I contacted the Social Security office and they looked up the EIN for that client and they said no W-2s were showing for that client. I checked the 2 clients following that one and they too had not been received by the Social Security Admin. I had received acknowledgement of all my other clients from Tax1099 - but those 3 I had not. I thought it was just taking time to get them. Unfortunately I paid for a service for 3 clients that I did not get.
