Beware of sizing
I ordered a t shirt as a sample for an initial production run in size XL. The shirt arrived quite quickly but immediately looked too small. I contacted customer service and they explained it was within their 3cm size variance and showed the sizing chart. XL as per their sizing chart is an XS anywhere else and it is the largest size offered. Out of curiosity, I got my 12 yr old who is only 5ft tall to try it on and it fits like a glove.

Hi Brant, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry for the disappointment caused by the sizing and understand how frustrating this can be when ordering samples for a production run. After reviewing the order details, we’d like to clarify for other customers reading this review that the item selected was a women’s fitted (slim-fit) style, which is designed to have a narrower cut and a more tailored silhouette. As noted on the product page and size chart, this style runs smaller than unisex or relaxed-fit garments, and the XL is intended for a fitted look rather than an oversized or standard unisex XL fit. The measurements provided on our size chart reflect the actual garment dimensions, and the ±3 cm variance mentioned by our support team is an industry-standard allowance for production. For customers who prefer a looser fit or plan to sell to a broader audience, we strongly recommend choosing unisex or relaxed-fit styles, which offer a more conventional sizing scale and wider size range. We appreciate you raising this point, as it highlights the importance of selecting the right fit type when sampling products. If you’d like recommendations on alternative styles that better match your needs, our support team is always happy to help. Thank you again for your feedback. – The Tapstitch Team
