Disappointed with Product Quality & Customer Service
I’m very disappointed with Tapstitch. One of my customers purchased a tennis dress, and after wearing and washing it once, the red colour bled all over the white fabric, ruining the dress. I contacted Tapstitch about this issue, but they didn’t respond . Their customer service is disappointing, and I expected much better product quality. As a seller, I’m left dealing with the unhappy customer and refunding the order. Very frustrating experience.
Response from TapstitchOct 22, 2026
Hi Lilah,
We're truly sorry to hear about this experience, especially since the issue affected not only you but also your own customer.
A tennis dress experiencing significant color bleeding after just one wash is understandably disappointing, and we recognize how frustrating it must be to have to refund your customer and deal with the impact on your business. This is certainly not the quality experience we want anyone to have with Tapstitch.
We're also very sorry that you didn't receive a timely response from our support team. We've been experiencing a higher-than-usual volume of inquiries recently, which has affected our response times. However, we understand that this doesn't make the delay any less frustrating, especially when you're trying to resolve an urgent issue for your own customer.
We take concerns about color bleeding and garment quality seriously, and we'd like to have this case properly reviewed with our product and quality teams to understand what happened and determine an appropriate resolution.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We know there's still work to be done to improve both our product quality and customer support experience, and feedback like yours helps us identify where we need to do better.
We're sorry we let you down, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.

I purchased two zip up hoodies to test…
I purchased two zip up hoodies to test the quality and design printed. It says from china not USA and neither size were correct. I purchased a medium and 2XL and they were both far too short. Waste of 100 bucks. Won’t be ordering anything else from here for my business.
Response from TapstitchOct 12, 2026
Hi Katannya,
We're sorry to hear that your first experience with Tapstitch was disappointing, especially when you were testing our products for your business.
To clarify, Tapstitch operates both U.S. and international fulfillment facilities, and the fulfillment location may vary depending on the products ordered. We understand that shipping expectations matter, and we're continuing to improve how clearly this information is communicated.
More importantly, we're concerned that both zip-up hoodies were much shorter than you expected. When you're ordering samples for your own clothing brand, finding the right fit is essential, and we understand how disappointing it must be to invest around $100 in products that don't meet your needs.
We'd like to take a closer look at the sizing of both hoodies and compare their actual measurements with our published size charts. Whether this was a production discrepancy or a mismatch between the intended fit and your expectations, it's something we'd like to better understand and address.
We appreciate you giving Tapstitch a try and sharing your experience. We're sorry we didn't meet your expectations this time, and we'd welcome the opportunity to review your concerns and work toward an appropriate resolution.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT/MATERIAL/QUALITY
This is horrible. The products did not come as ordered, the sizes were all different, the printing is different on each article of clothing, the polo shirt wasn't even embroidered. Save your money. I burned $100 on useless material and print costs. This will be a waste of your money. Insurance on the order doesn't even cover anything with the product. Will never use nor recommend this site. It will not allow photos to be uploaded. Otherwise I would show how horrible it is.

Response from TapstitchSep 29, 2026
Hi James,
We’re very sorry to hear about what you received. Inconsistent sizing and print results, along with a polo that did not have the embroidery you expected, are concerns we would want to review carefully — especially when you spent around $100 on products you now feel you cannot use.
We also saw your comment about wanting to share photos. We would absolutely like to review them, as they can help us understand what happened with the sizing, printing, and polo individually.
We don’t want your experience to end with being told that order protection doesn’t cover the issue. Regardless of the applicable coverage, the product concerns you described still deserve to be properly reviewed and addressed.
At the moment, however, we haven’t been able to confidently identify your Tapstitch account or order from the information available in this review. We’ve requested additional information through Trustpilot so we can locate the correct order and investigate what happened without making assumptions about your case.
Once we’re able to identify the order, we’ll review the affected items and the photos you mentioned so we can determine the appropriate next steps.
We’re sorry this experience left you feeling that the products and money you invested were wasted. Thank you for being direct about what went wrong — we’d like the opportunity to properly understand and address it.

Everything fits weird plus hidden fees
Everything fits weird, sizes are not accurate at all it is a literal roll of the dice what your going to get. My order took double the max production time, when I contacted them they informed me that they ran out of stock but didn't bother to notify me. Hidden shipping fees after checkout. I paid for the express shipping just to have my order held hostage for more shipping fees that were not mentioned or disclosed during checkout. This place is ridiculous. Definitely not for any serious buyers.
Response from TapstitchSep 20, 2026
Hi Heath,
We’re sorry for the experience you’ve had, especially after dealing with a production delay, an out-of-stock item, and then an unexpected charge from DHL after paying for express shipping.
You raised several concerns that we take seriously.
First, you should not have had to contact us to find out that an item was out of stock after your order had already exceeded the expected production timeframe. We know how important predictable production and proactive communication are, particularly for customers relying on us for their business.
Regarding the additional $25 requested by DHL, we also want to provide some context while acknowledging where we could have done better.
This was not an additional shipping fee charged by Tapstitch. With International Express shipments, the carrier may collect import duties or other customs-related charges when a shipment clears customs in the destination country. These charges can vary depending on the shipment and local customs requirements, so unfortunately, we’re unable to determine or accurately estimate the amount in advance.
However, your feedback has highlighted something important for us: while the amount itself may not be predictable, the possibility of an additional customs-related charge should be communicated more clearly when customers select their shipping method at checkout.
We understand why receiving an unexpected $25 payment request from DHL after already paying for express shipping felt like a hidden cost. The information presented during checkout did not make that possibility clear enough, and that is something we need to improve.
Thank you for calling this out. We’re taking your feedback back to our team to review how we communicate potential import-related charges during checkout so customers can make a more informed shipping decision before placing an order.
We’re also sorry to hear about the sizing inconsistency you experienced. Reliable sizing, production timelines, and proactive communication are all important for customers evaluating Tapstitch for ongoing business, and your experience clearly fell short in these areas.
Our Customer Experience team will follow up with you directly to better understand the sizing concerns and review the production and out-of-stock experience.
We appreciate you being direct about what went wrong. While we can’t control the customs charges applied during international express delivery, we can—and should—do a better job of making customers aware of that possibility before they choose the shipping method.

My experience with Tapstitch has been…Two Orders Later: Inconsistent Sizing, Poor Print Quality, and a Lot of Disappointment
My experience with Tapstitch has been mixed, but unfortunately, after two separate orders, I would say I’m more disappointed and frustrated than satisfied.
My first order was honestly horrible. The quality of the T-shirt itself was okay, but it was definitely not what I expected based on how Tapstitch presents its products. My biggest issue, however, was the sizing. I ordered one of the largest sizes available, and it genuinely felt more like something made for a 14-year-old girl than an adult man. The sizing was so far off from what I expected that the shirt was basically unusable for its intended purpose.
I do want to give credit where it is deserved. Lusanda from customer service was great. She was responsive, professional, patient, and genuinely seemed to be trying her best to help me with the issues I experienced. She has easily been the most positive part of my experience with Tapstitch so far.
Because of that experience with customer service, I decided to give Tapstitch another opportunity and placed a second order. Unfortunately, that order was also only partially successful.
The actual fabric and overall quality of some of the T-shirts were decent and closer to what I was expecting. However, the sizing continues to be a major problem. I specifically went up to a 2XL because of what happened with my first order, yet one of the shirts still felt closer to a Small than a 2XL.
For a company that markets apparel, particularly oversized and streetwear-style clothing, I don't understand how the sizing can be this inconsistent. A customer ordering a 2XL should not have to wonder whether the shirt is actually going to fit like a 2XL, a Medium, or even a Small.
The print quality was another disappointment. The lettering on the T-shirts already looks faded while the shirts are brand new. Instead of looking like a clean, durable, professionally finished print, it looks like something that may begin deteriorating after the first few washes. Obviously, I cannot say what will happen until they are actually washed, but when a brand-new garment already makes you question whether the print will survive washing, that isn't very reassuring.
Another thing I genuinely don't understand is the advertising I have seen for Tapstitch, including videos and ads on YouTube showing people ordering products and appearing extremely satisfied with what they receive.
After seeing those advertisements and then comparing them with the products I personally received across two separate orders, there is a major disconnect for me. I obviously cannot say whether those positive reactions are paid, sponsored, or completely independent, because I don't know. But from my perspective as an actual customer, the advertisements certainly come across very differently from the experience I have had.
Based on the products I received, I personally find it extremely difficult to understand how someone receiving the same sizing and print quality would be completely satisfied. Maybe other customers have received better products, and I can only speak about what was delivered to me, but my experience simply has not matched what I have seen advertised.
At this point, there is also one decision I have already made. If I eventually launch my own clothing brand, I will most definitely not be using Tapstitch as the manufacturer or fulfillment partner. That decision is set in stone. When you're building your own brand, your customers associate the quality of the garment, printing, sizing, and overall product with your brand—not with the company that manufactured it. Based on what I have received so far, I personally would not feel comfortable putting my own brand name on these products and sending them to paying customers.
That is probably the most disappointing part because I originally tried Tapstitch partly to see whether they could potentially be a company I would work with for future clothing projects. After two orders, I no longer have that confidence.
Customer service has been good about answering my questions and concerns, and again, Lusanda deserves recognition for trying to help. However, good communication can only go so far. So far, I haven't really been offered much of a solution or anything additional to compensate for the inconvenience of experiencing problems across multiple orders. At some point, customers don't just want their concerns acknowledged—they want the underlying problem resolved. I am going to wait and see how Tapstitch responds to this review and whether they offer any meaningful solution regarding the products I received. overall, i would be skeptical to trust them with anything moving forward. so far i placed 2 orders and both have been disappointing.
Response from TapstitchSep 20, 2026
Hi Lynn,
Thank you for taking the time to explain your experience in such detail. We’re sincerely sorry that after giving Tapstitch two opportunities, you’ve been left feeling more disappointed than confident in us.
We also want to recognize your kind words about Lusanda. We’re glad she treated your concerns with the patience, professionalism, and care they deserved, and we’ll make sure that recognition is shared with her.
At the same time, we completely understand your larger point: good customer service cannot make up for products that have not met your expectations, and acknowledgment alone is not a resolution.
The sizing concerns you experienced across both orders, together with your concerns about the appearance and durability of the print, deserve a proper product-level review and a meaningful resolution rather than another general explanation.
We also understand why this has affected your confidence in Tapstitch as a potential partner for your own brand. When you sell a product under your name, your customers associate its fit, print quality, and overall experience with your brand. We don’t take that responsibility lightly.
Our Customer Experience Manager is personally reviewing your case and will follow up with you directly regarding the products you received and the appropriate next steps.
We’re very sorry that the products you received across these two orders did not reflect the experience you expected from Tapstitch. Thank you for giving us a second opportunity after your first order, and for being so clear about where we have fallen short.

Crapstitch
Crapstitch. Worst company I have dealt with in a long time. DO NOT USE. Choose another supplier. There customer service is truly awful when you have an issue on live chat they are so busy replying to other peoples complaints and issues they regularly reply to their problem in your chat, they fob you off with promises to escalate and email you with an update, which never materialises. They grind you down with new chats going over the same issues and you constantly repeat yourself, day after day to no resolve. They will damage your brand and your mental health. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Response from TapstitchSep 18, 2026
Hi Steve,
We’re very sorry to read about the experience you’ve had with Tapstitch.
What concerns us most in your feedback is not only that you’ve experienced fulfillment issues, but how much additional effort you’ve had to put in trying to get those issues resolved. Having to start new chats, repeat the same information to different agents, and wait for promised escalations or email updates that don’t arrive is not the support experience we expect to provide.
You’re also right that when you use Tapstitch to fulfill orders for your own customers, our mistakes don’t stop with us. They can cost you time, create difficult conversations with your customers, and ultimately affect your own brand. We take that very seriously.
We have not yet been able to confidently identify your Tapstitch account from the information available in this review, so we don’t want to make assumptions about your specific orders or give you another generic answer without properly investigating what happened.
We’ve reached out to you through Trustpilot to request some additional account or order information. We would really appreciate your help in providing those details. Once we receive them, we’ll have the case reviewed at the management level and follow up with you directly rather than asking you to go through the same support process again.
We’re sincerely sorry that getting help from us has become part of the frustration instead of part of the solution.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Steve. We hope you’ll give us the opportunity to properly investigate what happened and address the issues you’ve been dealing with.

My experience with Tapstitch has been…
My experience with Tapstitch has been mixed, and I’m becoming concerned about whether the production delays I’m experiencing are part of a wider pattern.
My first order went exactly as expected. Production and delivery were smooth, and I was happy with the overall experience, which gave me confidence to order from Tapstitch again.
Unfortunately, my latest order has been very different. Two products have remained “In Production” without a clear explanation of what is causing the delay or when they will actually be completed.
On its own, I would probably put this down to an occasional production delay. However, after reading reviews from other customers describing similar issues with orders being delayed in production, I am concerned that this may not be an isolated incident.
I understand that delays and stock issues can happen. What would make a significant difference is clear and proactive communication when something goes wrong, rather than customers having to chase for information.
It’s disappointing because my first experience with Tapstitch was positive and I like their products. I hope this is simply an isolated issue and that the order is resolved soon.
I’ll update this review once the order has been completed and I’ve seen how Tapstitch handles the situation.
Response from TapstitchAug 28, 2026
Hi Godfrey,
Thank you for sharing this so openly. We’re especially sorry that after such a positive first experience with Tapstitch, your latest order has left you questioning whether you can rely on us going forward.
You’re absolutely right about one thing in particular: when an order isn’t progressing as expected, you shouldn’t have to keep checking the status or contact us yourself just to understand what is happening. Even when production or inventory issues occur, proactive and transparent communication should be part of the experience.
We’ve been actively working on improving how we identify delayed orders and communicate exceptions to customers earlier, and your feedback reinforces why this needs to remain a priority for us.
We’ve reached out to you directly through Trustpilot to request some additional information so that we can locate your order and properly investigate what is causing the delay. We’d really appreciate your help in providing those details. Once received, our team will review the two products that are still in production and follow up with you directly on their status and next steps.
We’re sorry that your second experience has been so different from your first. We appreciate that you still like our products and are giving us the opportunity to show you how we handle this situation.
Thank you for your cooperation, Godfrey. We hope our actions from here can earn back the confidence your first order gave you.

Disappointing experience so far
Disappointing experience so far. We placed a sample order to assess Tapstitch as a potential supplier, but had several quality and sizing issues.
Support initially responded, but the complaint has now become slow to resolve and the proposed solution did not reflect the problems with the order.
Unfortunately, the quality control and customer service so far have left us lacking confidence in placing a larger order.
Response from TapstitchAug 20, 2026
Hi Max,
We’re truly sorry that your first experience with Tapstitch has been disappointing, especially when this sample order was intended to help you evaluate us as a potential supplier.
After reviewing the situation, we identified an internal issue with how the support case was assigned, which unfortunately caused an unnecessary delay in handling your concerns. We’ve already escalated and improved this process internally.
We completely understand that experiencing product issues is frustrating enough — having to wait too long for proper after-sales support only makes that experience worse. This is not the level of service we expect to provide.
We’ve now arranged for a dedicated manager to follow up with you directly regarding both the order issues and your outstanding questions, and to work toward an appropriate resolution.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your feedback helped us identify a gap in our process, and we sincerely apologize that you had to experience it firsthand. We hope we’ll have the opportunity to restore your confidence in Tapstitch.
