If I could give less stars I would, my husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness last year. I reached out to talk space since my insurance recommended I try. I signed up and waited 2 weeks to get assigned a therapist. That was a long wait when your dealing with watching your husband die in front of you. I have a full time job and he has doctor appointments everyday. I have to take him to those. I I set up an appointment. Guarded that time from my husbands doctors. Made arrangements so I could miss work (I work from home) and drove to find a place to be alone. The therapist cancelled the appointment. So 3 weeks later I am starting over. Run fast rom these people if you need help l.

I paid $296 for a live plan, exchanged messages with three therapists but they said they wouldn't deal with my problem. So within one day I realized that there was no point to further explore Talkspace and I requested cancellation and a refund. Cancellation was easy but the refund was only $222. My multiple attempts to contact the support team were useless.

You will do better to find a therapist on a sliding scale or find another therapist in your area. I initially had a good therapist at the beginning of my trial. When I learned my job offered free unlimited subscription of Talkspace, I was thrilled. However, I would have to change therapist because she did not accept my insurance. My 2nd therapist went ghost on me after having a few sessions. I made progress with him, so I continued to use Talkspace and found another Therapist. He is very good, although sometimes he forgets to respond at times ( >72 hrs). I think it is the platform and what ever algorithm that is being used that they have to respond in a certain time. I think he gets so bombarded but tries to respond with a teaser and then he is gone until 1 week and then we fully catch up. Although he is very nice, it is not very helpful to me and what I currently need. When I need to speak with him thoroughly, and I mean more than a short text or at least a video, I can not. Luckily my services are included through my insurance, so I try to be bite the bullet. But if I had to pay for something like Talkspace, I wouldn't and would actually hire a therapist to have that consistency.

You deserve something better than talkspace… no contact no concern no reply. This app just wants your money.

I have can't log into my account and I've been back and forth with virtual email only tech support for over 4 hours and just keep getting walk through steps If i didn't pay already by signing up I would have given up

It takes a lot for someone feeling like they need help to seek help. This I assure you will be the most uncaring bottom Of the barrel care providers you will find.

Terrible company. I never did a single session and when I went to get a refund, they send you to some strange refund wizard. Once complete they only refunded me 75% of my payment. The wizard gives you two choices; Accept refund or wave refund. Not sure what wave refund means, so I guess I just got ripped off for 25% of my never used monthly subscription.

Scam. I needed a psychiatrist and they signed me up with a Marriage counselor? Plus I got charged without ever having a session. Screw this company. Times are tough enough and this company is fleecing people who are looking for help.
