I will give Talkspace 1 star here on Trustpilot. I went through 4 different therapists who simply were no good match from day 1. Then I spent almost 2 months chasing a refund as they were 'too busy'

When you sign up, you input your insurance info and Talkspace is supposed to let you know whether their services will be covered for you. Not only did they not let me know, but they also never bothered trying to bill my insurance. They billed me the full amount, which was several hundred dollars. There is no customer service number and emails take weeks to get a response.

I signed up 6 days ago, the app is still telling me that it's finding me a therapist. I sent a help ticket 4 days ago to ask what's up when it seemed like 2 days was a long time to wait for something that was marketed as instant, and so far no one has responded to my ticket either. Total waste of money and time.

No one responds. They will steal your money and refuse to refund you.

Talkspace is very very slow to do anything. It took almost three weeks to find a provider. When that person was found I scheduled a session and she didn't show up. Who does that!? Asked her what happened and she told me she didn't feel well and asked to reschedule for later that day. I wasn't sure about it but this being my first ever therapy experience I agreed. Do you know she didn't show up on time again? I was in the session for 15 mins and left. She messages me 20 mins into a 30 min session and asks me to join the room. I declined and told her I would be requesting another provider as valuing people's time is important to me and clearly not to her. It's been another 3 weeks since I submitted the request to Talkspace for a new provider and nothing.

I had 3 counselors. Each counselor had multiple absences. Talk Space had no problem charging me for services ahead of time but when I went to reclaim my money because my counselor canceled there were always problems. One time my counselor said I am sorry you are unhappy that I could not give you an appointment but my slots were taken. I said BUT I HAD an appt and you canceled it because you didn't like doing 2 sessions back to back. What she showed NO CONSIDERATION FOR was I would have trouble getting my money back so canceling was ETHICALLY THE WRONG THING TO DO. and then she did not help me to get my money back. I switched counselors and she was out after about 3 sessions with no mention of me getting a refund. She said she was talking to talk space and they understood but a week later NO MENTION OF HOW I WOULD BE REFUNDED. I said lol, THEY UNDERSTAND. OF COURSE THEY SHOULD UNDERSTAND. WHY DON"T YOU JUST HAVE A POLICE IN PLACE?? THAT MAKES NO SENSE!! TALK SPACE MAKES YOU PAY IN ADVANCE AND YET WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR MONEY THERE IS NO CONCERN. IT FEELS MORE LIKE RACKETEERING THAN ANYTHING ELSE. The Counselors NOR TALK SPACE ARE RELIABLE. I had no therapy with my therapist as I am waiting to hear about my refund. I HEAR MY SISTER IS DYING. TALK ABOUT ABANDONING A PATIENT WHEN SHE NEEDS THERAPY THE MOST!! Talk Space needs to get their act together so they can adequately serve the patient's they took on in a professional matter. There was no reason for abandonment during this period other than total LACK OF CONCERN for THIS PATIENT and I am sure many many others. Obviously Talk Space says it is there to help the public but it more adequately appears like SELF ABSORPTION.

Signed up for service, completed therapy sessions and I didn’t think it was for me. In mind,I had moved on, but no they auto billed me $1,300. Cannot find a phone number for customer service. No way to get your money back. Reading the post on here makes me think there is a lot of people out there like me. If there are any attorneys out there that do class action law suites, please contact me. DO NOT GIVE TALKSPACE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO!!!!!!!

I found it as an opton on my insurance. I thought it would be virtual therapy. I did't realize that it was pretty much just email therapy. Not chat but email, by signing in and reading their responses if you are ever lucky to even get a response. First asks all these questions, then when they finally match you to a therapist they turn around and ask the same questions. Then no response at all forever , I would keep messaging and to see what was going on and finally someone would respond "oh sorry, and honestly after 3 responses (not chat or live, just messages) that were spaced out over weeks and weeks I got a really unprofessional response which was suppose to be the therapy I guess, and I responded. After two months and 3 message responses I was done . What a useless excuse of providing therapy. I would call them a scam.
