The counselor is well-matched for me. There is easy communication and assessments that I can follow and see the changes in me. There’s no pressure from counselor or the system to schedule, which helps me feel more inclined to manage my appointments in a way that is intuitive for me. It’s also easy to schedule and get reminders.

I was at a bad moment in my life, needed support when I felt like I had none. I decided I needed a therapist, and went through the whole process. I was chosen a therapist that I couldn't change without meeting first, and had my first session the day after I finished the process. I truly enjoy this service because it seems to understand the panic that comes with starting therapy, and it pushes you forward. It doesn't let you back out because "oh, well maybe I dont actually need it" or "maybe that's not the right therapist for me." It forces the first session, which is the hardest part. I appreciate the push.

I love using Talkspace for therapy, I was lucky enough to hit the jackpot and love the therapist I was assigned from the start. But I love that I could change for any reason, no questions asked! The app and desktop version are both super easy to use, and I love that I can message my therapist whenever I need to (super helpful for those “I want to bring this up in therapy” moments that seem to slip my mind!). The price is great for a mental health provider, and they take my insurance, which happens to be a bit obscure, and it was nearly impossible to find a local provider in person. I can get mental health treatment from my own home!

I have had a great experience with talkspace! I have very much enjoyed having the flexibility to have virtual meetings that work around my busy schedule. I love how easy it is to be able to message with your therapist and coordinate times and rescheduling if needed. I also cannot speak highly enough about my therapist, Sharia Thomas. She was so professional and communicative and she helped me to grow so much over the past year. I don't know what I would have done without her. Sharia is the best and Talkspace has been great!
