I signed up to see a specific doctor at a specific time. That all changed automatically without confirmation that I was aligned with seeing someone else. I immediately sent a cancelation email, no response so I sent one again and finally got a response saying they canceled. Now, I’ve been receiving threatening billing statements for two months saying I owe money. I’ve called and spoken with multiple people, email multiple times and keep being told the billing will be reversed, but nope, still getting bills. I am currently on hold for 8 minutes being told they are still processing my request and the Customer Service person said they can’t cancel and need to wait for another group to do it… This is a SCAM. Don’t use them.

First, they don’t take BCBS insurance despite their website saying they do. I have two insurances, so they were willing to see me with my other insurance. I saw a dr for about 20 minutes, and then she stopped me and said basically, “I think I’m in over my head here. I’m going to transfer you to another dr in our practice.” Ok, fine. It’s been over a month, and I finally got a call today: they found a dr who will see me! Great! Scheduled an appointment and then literally 11 minutes later, I get an email that my appointment has been canceled, the internal transfer was denied, and I will not be able to see any Talkiatry doctors. No explanation. Very very disappointed.

There are no contingency plans when doctors are out of town and you need an emergency fill of a controlled substance. I understand that certain precautions need to be taken with controlled substances, but I am surely not the first edge case in the country where a patient loses a controlled prescription and needs a 3 day supply while a provider is out of town. They called in an emergency 3 day supply, but because of DEA regulations, a medication can't be filled until it is due. The only workaround for this is to change the dose upward. Since I was previously on a higher dose and requested to be lowered on my own volition I figured this wouldn't be an issue, but the clinicians refused. Hopefully I can get a script through urgent care or I may have to risk going to the street. The fact that this is even something I have to consider is ridiculous. I'm on Vyvanse and need to work this weekend. Did I also mention I am an operations manager for a mail order pharmacy? Very bad.
