Nilesh Tannu is a very rude, sarcastic and demeaning individual. I will not acknowledge him as a doctor as he did not present himself as one. He laughed at me, mocked me and belittled my previous adhd assessments calling my therapist "biased" because she only used one method to determine a diagnosis. I will go out of my way to let it be known that what Talkiatry said would take place did not, and any time spent with Mr. Tannu or with this company is a waste of time and resources.

I called talkiatry And I made an appointment on Zocdoc and they keep canceling my appointment they can’t verify my Medicare insurance Medicare keeps telling me that I am active Social Security keeps telling me that I have Medicare there were denying me service and I told the billing office if you’re going keep denying me service I am going to file a civil complaint if terrible customer service I think they’re from overseas I didn’t even make it to my first appointment because they refuse me service they’re refusing people service and that’s not how it should be because I am going to be filing a lawsuit if they continue to keep denying me I read peoples reviews and they have bad reviews it’s a terrible company I didn’t even make it to my first appointment because they refuse people and they should be sued and be accountable for everything they do they need to be shut down and be put out of business that’s not how to treat peopled

Horrible care. Asked me for my entire history and let me talk for 40 minutes before saying they wouldn't take me on as a patient.

Most disappointing experience. After waiting over a week to get on the calendar, they remind you that your appointment is coming up, then when the appointment time comes, it says 25 minute wait time. Then cancel. Just rescheduled it for tomorrow, gave them a 1 star experience, then canceled me again, out of retaliation... Glad I wasn't in a state where I have already purchased my rope at Home Depot.... Imagine that scenario... Customer service sucks. They can't figure out time zones... On top of it, they are outsourced to Mexico and had some difficulties understanding the gentleman who kept calling me Miss when my name is obviously a guy.... I suggest, get a physical appointment in your home town... This is unacceptable. When you are already in a dire situation, you need help, not additional aggreviation...

I waited weeks for my appointment only to not be able to log in, get hung up on my technical support, finally get logged in amd waited 20 minutes. No doctor. Called again. The doctor doesn't have time to see me now and I have to reschedule. Needless to say, I will not be rescheduling.

Had Dr. Sobhan. I have been seeing psychiatrist for over 30 years. I have never been treated so poorly from a psychiatrist ever!. Especially one that I just met. She was so rude on our very first initial visit. She had me in tears, and I had to tell her that I would no longer be wanting her as my doctor. what a shame!

Talkiatry is a scam, a sham or both. The enterprise expects the world of would-be clients but delivers nothing itself. Relies on a BOT that churns out messages with the rat-a-tat frequency of a machine gun: Fill out forms A, B, C. Upload them. Upload I.D. forms and proof of insurance. Get ready for appt. Carve out 75 minutes for it. If you fail to show, pay $100 fee. Then, 3 hours before long-awaited appt: “Your Talkiatry visit has been successfully canceled.” What the heck? Someone is impersonating me!? Have they stolen my identity? No, it’s BOT’s interpretation of events. Therapist wasn’t available? Talkiatry’s virtual link went AWOL? Wait! BOT spews out a new message: Reschedule. OK. But what’s this? No appts available for another month. No personal message from anyone. No “we apologize.” No offer to pay me for the inconvenience of their no-show. Just that passive-voice sentence in which no one takes responsibility, even implying (with “successfully”) that I initiated the cancellation. Not until afterwards when I seek out reviews do I land at Trustpilot’s site. A gobsmacking 89 percent of 171 reviewers have given Talkiatry 1 star. My bad; I failed in due diligence. At least I didn’t get sucked into Talkiatry’s billing system that has other commentators roiling. At least some reviews mention other tele-therapy services that appear to be above board...

After completing a survey and speaking to someone on the phone in order to select the right therapist, we were told by said therapist that Talkiatry can not accept her. They were in our insurance network and I got confirmation from Talkiatry in writing that we would only owe $20 copay. We were then billed $427 for 2 sessions and a patient portal, none of which we received. It has been a year contacting both customer service and billing to be told repeatedly they would take care of it just to get sent another bill the next month. Lack of transparency, care and follow through coupled with fraudulent billing.
