appalling, their tech is stupid and useless. they've outsourced to the philippines so you get the scripted incompetence. it must be a scam, thank god I gave up before scheduling and then read the reviews absolutely true. Go elsewhere for help.

I wish I read these reviews before starting seeing a provider with them. There is a pattern of overcharging after initial reassurance that your copay is only $25, but then you get a bill with several hundreds. I raised the concern with them multiple times and they even refused to apologize. Since that I was not an isolated incident, I suspect this is a systematic issue. I launched a formal investigation against them. No wonder 85% voted 1 star. I already reached out to Talkiatry at billing at talkiatry.com SEVERAL TIMES, and that was their reply: Thank you for reaching out to Talkiatry. The Medical Coding department reviewed the claim for 4/17/2024 and found that the charges were valid. Please do not pretend that you will investigate this. Your reply to this review is just to save face publicly, and you know you will continue to have the same reply

Am not impressed at all. My spouse is suffering and I’m very concerned with documented incidents. I tried to get a message to the doctor and they told me to call 911. Will be pulling him out

Stay away from this company. My initial visit was an hour long and subsequent visits were less than 17 minutes with $600-$400 charges per session, my insurance only covering half. This has wrecked my mental heath more than it has helped.

I called to schedule an appointment on April 21st. The first available was 26 days away on May 16th. I took the day off from work. Less than an hour before the call I received a call saying the provider had cancelled and that someone would call in 48 hours to reschedule. 94 hours later I received a call wo tell me they would email me a link with a list of providers so I could schedule myself. The email had one provider, the same one who cancelled and the first available was a month away. Two months to see a provider when you are having a mental health crisis is beyond unresponsible.

They state they don’t take patients that have been hospitalized, however, I chose to go to the hospital voluntarily and reading the text on their page seems to say they don’t take you if a doctor orders you to be hospitalized. I went in on my own accord, at my request. So. If you want a psychiatrist that can handle anything, don’t go here.

Don’t waste your time- five week wait for initial appointment. They canceled the appointment after I had already sat in a virtual waiting room for 45 minutes. Rescheduled a week later and it went fine. Second appointment was scheduled 5 weeks later. Talkiatry canceled the appointment three hours before the start time. So the company can charge you $100 for not canceling 48 hrs in advance, but they’ve cancelled on me multiple times within a few hours of the appointment. They don’t seem to care about the patients time or care whatsoever. First available appointment to reschedule their cancellation was three weeks out. I’m done. It’s going to suck going through the intake process again, but it’s better than rearranging my work and family schedule around their incompetence.

My first visit with Talkiatry went fine - audio and visual were no problem. For my second appointment I was at my computer waiting for my visit and signed in as soon as I got the invitation. I had run tests on my audio and visual, but she couldn't hear me on her computer speakers. I asked her (using pantomime) if we could do the audio over the phone and she said no. After 5 minutes she ended the call abruptly. I was sent a $100 missed-appointment fee that was removed when I contacted Talkiatry, but just got a bill for the $15 copay. This tells me they have billed my insurance for a visit that didn't happen. Must be nice ...
