As many people have written: TOTAL SCAM of a company. Had2 appointments. Was not able to log on to have my meeting. VERY FRUSTATED. Allegedly they fixed it, had a second appointment and again, couldn't log on. STAY AWAY FROM TALKIATRY. I will talk to you for free!

My first experience with Therapy and…
My first experience with Therapy and it's caused more anxiety and stress than the two appointments helped with. Over...48 hours cancelation and $100 fee. I don't have any day that's the same. I tried to cancel and I couldn't after hours.

Talkiatry billed me for services that never happened
Talkiatry is a scam. I signed up for the service two days ago, completed intake assessments, uploaded my insurance card, and was told I was all set for my appointment which was scheduled for next week. A few minutes later, I got an automated email stating my appointment was cancelled because my insurance (Anthem BCBS) isn't in network with Talkiatry, even though it is. I contacted a care coordinator at Talkiatry, provided them with my insurance card, and they said the problem was that somehow they had Cigna on file even though Cigna isn't my insurance. They updated my chart, scheduled me with a different doctor, and said I was all set. Then I got an email again stating that my insurance is invalid. I talked with a care coordinator again, who said for some reason Cigna showed up as my insurance again. I then provided my Anthem BCBS card AGAIN, they verified it, and I was scheduled for a doctor. Then I got an email several hours later stating "while we are in network with and did bill them, your insurer has denied your claim because they say they are listed as your secondary insurer... until this is done, your balance will remain your responsibility, along with any subsequent denials." ANTHEM BCBS IS MY PRIMARY AND ONLY INSURANCE. I DO NOT HAVE CIGNA. Now I am being billed by Talkiatry for services that literally never happened. I am being billed for three online assessments when I never even got to meet with a doctor. Avoid this company. It is a scam.

SCAM of a company
SCAM of a company. Switched from Circle medical to Talkiatry because Talkiatry claimed to be covered by my new insurance and Circle was no longer covered. Talkiatry charged me $440 out of pocket (while Circle which is not covered by my insurance was only going to charge $195 out of pocket) and the total bill was over $700. I was already diagnosed prior, already prescribed. They were literally renewing a prescription. When I contested it they gave me the run around with billing and then said everything was coded properly (I wasn't contesting the coding I was contesting the price). I'll never go back. HORRIBLE.

Poorly designed system. Doctor blew me off.
I made an appointment. When I went to log in, the system didn't work. There was not help or chat on the page. I had to get out and go to a different part of the site. I finally found a phone number and a chat box. I gave them a bunch of personal data. It turns out that no one had turned on my ID.
I went back. I logged in again. This is using my phone. I had to give my whole medical history again. I got on about 5 minutes late. The doctor - Dr. Richard McColl - was not there. I waited a half hour and gave up.
In the meantime, I went back on my laptop to go thought the website. I had to give a separate, more thorough medical history. I finished that. I checked, and there was still not doctor.
An hour after my scheduled call, I received a phone call from Talkiatry. It turns out the doctor just lost track of time. They offered me a time later that day that was not convenient for me. I then tried mutliple days over the following two weeks. He supposedly had nothing available.
I don't like doctors that blow off patients or don't show up, particularly for telemedicine appointments. My other doctors have never been more than 10 minutes late for telemedicine visits.

Abhorrent Experience with Talkiatry
As any initial patient does, I provided documentation and forms about myself prior to even the first appointment. The first appointment was so long and drawn out that they had to have it continue into a second appointment. It was during the second appointment where I was asked about my medicinal marijuana card and I confirmed that I have one. The "Talkiatrist" then told me that they can't work with me because I have a medicinal marijuana card. They of course didn't notice this information prior to the first or second appointment in my forms so they either didn't bother doing their job and reading my intake forms or gladly and willingly ignored the fact that I had stated which would eliminate me as a candidate. They then sent me a $700 bill for two sessions and included an Additional supportive therapy fee stating they provided "additional medical services ... like supportive psychotherapy, psychoeducation, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy." None of which was actually administered. Wouldn’t one suppose those are the basic medical services for a place called Talkiatry rather than the additional medical services? This place does not care about patients, they are not considerate, and they are focused on taking as much of your money as possible.
