We love my son’s new psychiatrist. She actually understands his condition and speaks his language. I’m thinking Talkiatry is a great service and I need to spread the word. Be careful when you need to reschedule, however. I rescheduled 2 days before his appointment; but it was 45 hours before his appointment, not 48, so I’ve been billed $100 for a no-show fee. In my head, I’m thinking at least two days in advance was the guideline: so I notified Talkiatry two days in advance as soon as I found out I had a conflicting appointment with my own doctor. I was shocked when I got the bill, so I sent an email to his Talkiatry doctor. She suggested that I email Talkiatry about the situation and I sure hope they show flexibility in this case.

I have been using Talkiatry for almost a year now, and it has been amazing from day one. It was incredibly easy to get an appointment online and I was able to see a doctor quickly. My doctor is absolutely wonderful. She is warm, kind, listens, doesn't want to shove more medicine on you if it's not needed, and cares about your total health. I have been lucky that it's all been covered by my insurance, which they handle all of that for me, so I have only have to pay co-pays, which has also been great. I definitely recommend them!

Prompt and excellent customer service. I was consulted by Austin Bailey helped me resolve my health concerns promptly and efficently. Moreover, my insurance was accepted so the service was affordable.

My experience with Talkiatry has been excellent, with the exception of a tech hiccup that could have been my network or theirs. Regardless, the tech called me within minutes to get me connected with my provider ASAP. My provider is knowledgeable and is treating me for symptoms that a prior physician told me weren't possible (male doc told me that I couldn't have ADHD because I did well in school. That’s not how that works with women, dude.) I highly recommend Talkiatry if your schedule or availability of providers makes in person services difficult.

My doctor was very easy to talk to, he asked me a lot of questions to understand exactly what I needed and he took his time with the appointment, I didn't feel like it was rushed at all.

I would just say to read through the reviews and not just look at the rating. Many reviewers are creating their own issues with the tech, billing, fees, etc. My experience has been exceptional! I have had two great Doc's because my regular went out on maternity. They use the healow app which is easy to use, has all info in one place, and you can log onto appts right from the app. I have had to message my doc several times because the pharmacy was out of my script. They responded within an hour and sent the script to another pharmany right away. Too many people like to blame others for their own incompetence. Easy, private, great docs, great app, couldn't be happier!

I have tried many online mental health services, and Talkiatry has been the best so far, hands down. I have been continuously impressed with my psychiatrist, his willingness to communicate, and the ease of getting my prescriptions. I have an MD that actually talks about more than just medicine. I have had no trouble getting controlled substances despite my provider being in another state, and the overall experience has been excellent. I just wish I could cancel appointments from the app; I still have to call in to cancel an appointment. Other than that, the app is very useful. I highly recommend Talkiatry.
