I absolutely love my new desktop computer and System76 tech support is awesome, too. I had trouble with the Nvidia card being buggy from the start. I blame Nvidia, not System76. At first I thought the problem was my new monitor that arrived the same day, because it would go blank for no reason. When I attached my old monitor, it went blank too, so I realized it was the GPU. Tech support gave me a fix, but later an Nvidia driver update introduced another bug that would shut off my programs without saving them during Suspend mode! There were other bugs, too. Online I found out that Nvidia is lousy with their drivers and driver updates so I asked tech support if I could replace the Nvidia for an AMD. System76 agreed, even though it was more than a month after my purchase date! Tech support even gave me advice on the different graphics card choices based on my input and needs. They spent a lot of time giving me email help (and even phone help), giving me helpful PDF manuals, letting me know what script to put in a terminal, etc. Most companies don't do any of that. With all their help and exchange, I am so happy with my new computer! I should also mention that System76 computers are really well built. I don't think I ever experienced a company that is as good as System76! I don't write reviews, but this company really deserved one.

Got here more quickly that I had expected. Machine is great. Sales team quickly aided in getting a couple of things I had overlooked ordered.

People there are craftsmen who care about their products. They also return emails and phone calls. Very nice and professional. You are getting American made computers with no china backdoor 's.

A repeat purchase. The previous products have been 100% reliable, and I am pleased to support POP-OS and the system 76 team. Excellent product, delivered on time. Helpful comms from people who care about customers.

Before purchasing, I looked at the specifications for the current model (tech-docs.system76.com), and it showed the motherboard as having four M.2 sockets. I planned on moving two M.2 drives from my old machine into this new Thelio Mira with one M.2 selected in the custom config. When I opened the case of machine received, it was a different motherboard with only three M.2 sockets. So, it was still good, but a little frustrating, as the Parts & Repairs manual was not available for it. Build quality under the hood was great, I'm loving the superfast machine, and Pop OS is making me much happier than Windows 11.

When I noted that a different system suited my needs better very soon after my initial system order, Customer Service promptly responded to my request to cancel my original order and allowed me to place a new order for the other system. Then that system was shipped and arrived within a week. Incredibly timely!
