Horrible charge a 25 percent restocking fee on something they never shipped
Rip off they make you wait for something they arent going to ship after you wait over a week you have to cancel cause they havnt shipped it yet. So you have to finsh your project and find another engine. They want to charge you a 25% fee on something they never shipped. What a rip off. I will report them to the better business Bureau. Fraudulent website division and sue they for the money they stoled from me.

Engine needed major work(they sell garbage engines), company will not honor warranties
They should have the attorney general of OK investigating, BBB already has then as bad.
They sold me an engine with supposedly 55k miles, they refused to provide the VIN when I suspected it was well over 150k on engine, engine has leaky head gasket, they consider head gasket not warrantied, meaning one can purchase an engine and then spend another $1600 getting a head job .I tore down the engine and found the engine supposedly 55k already had a timing belt job (usually done at 100K AND THAT BELT WAS VERY WORN), it had damage from poor mechanic work where there were wrench damage INSIDE the engine (supposedly 55k on this?), they REFUSED to honor anything on the warranty, I had a master mechanic shop install the engine and SWEnging stated it was installed wrong. thus void warranty when I reported the head issue, then they tried to refuse warranty first because their website was down and they stated that I didn't click the link soon enough, they refused to pay for damage that was inside engine from a crappy mechanic ruining valve pulley and other ares, the harmonic balancer had several huge cracks and was smashed ,the valve covers look like someone put jb weld on them and they painted over crappy rusty bolt, this is what they considered acceptable, and engine that needed major work. I found they had painted over major rust on the valve cover , it looks like they put jb weld on them and painted them. they had to know there was an oil lead on the head gasket also before they steamed it. Every item submitted that came damaged they made an excuse on why it would not be covered thus. After I purchased this item I did research, other people have the same experience, engines with damage suspicious of much older engine than advertised, many customers warranties refused over bogus reasons. They don't care that my kids and family will need to try to rely on a crap car, they are basically heartless and greedy. My mechanic who is a very well thought of mechanic in our area (people go to his shop rather than dealers), was blown away they refused to honor their warranty and that they even suggested a head gasket that is leaking is a "functional engine" it is an engine that is smoking because oil is leaking on the exhausted, a faulty head gasket leads to a failed head gasket. It is min $1600 to fix. The basic, they don't sell what they advertise, they sell garbage and paint it up to look like a new engine, until you turn the key over. This engine also had a high smell of burned build up in the combustion it took about 500 miles of putting in cleaning fluids to decrease that.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!Horibble experience with SWEngines
Ordered an engine almost 6 months ago the engine came 3 weeks later with MISSING PARTS AND DAMAGED ENGINE!! They have a scheme with the warranty and after emails and calls, ALEX( the rudest warranty claim representative) when I asked for explanations HE HUNG UP THE PHONE !! So I had a warranty claim(with a claim ID #) which they sent it in an email, but apparently I had no warranty????
The whole process was ridiculous(they have misleading terms in emails)
So they DON`T WANT TO REPLACE THE DAMAGED ENGINE AND THEY DON`T WANT TO RETURN THE MONEY EITHER!!!
GO BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE ITS NOT WORTH THE TIME AND THE MONEY!!
STAY AWAY FROM SW ENGINES!!

horrible experience with sw engines
I purchased an engine from them in January 2016. the engine was suppose to be grade A condition. The engine had a very loud knock so I took it to my local dealer and they said it was internal and the engine would have to be torn into to find the problem. After months of phone calls and emails not being returned I finally got in touch with someone in the warranty department. They agreed to send another engine but would not pay for the labor charges as they advertised. I received the replacement engine June of 2016. After paying to have it installed it was actually worse than the first engine. So now im stuck with a bad engine. The dealer says $2200 to fix it. This company makes claims that they wont back because they have so many hoops to jump through to get satisfaction. They claimed my warranty ran out but they would not return my calls or emails is why it ran out. They have an answer for everything and multiple reason for not giving the customer satisfaction. Very disappointed and do not recommend this company.

Ordered a Honda engine on 6-30-16 saw engine salesmen said engine would ship in 3 to 4 days. Called 7 days later engine had no shipped.Engine was on a pallet in pic. after many phone calls voice mails decided to cancel order because I needed engine a sap.Now they want a restocking fee of 300 $ for an engine that never shipped. this company just rips off people and keeps the restocking fee.No costumer service, Rip off company . Buy your engine from someone else or beware! I will be traveling out west in near future and will see if they really have a shop or just a credit card machine and a phone.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
Motor was received, OPEN crate. Installed motor, found that the flywheel did not match. Had to have motor pulled back out, and swapped from old motor. Fuel injectors were bad and caused a vapor lock, other broken parts, which were robbed from old motor.
Contacted warranty by phone and email with no response. Got motor all installed, and had major oil leak and immediately ruined motor. Contacted SW again, sent report from mechanic with no response. Called, no response, emailed again with report.
Alex (probably the BIG A in the other review) said it was not covered under warranty, since it has to do the seals. The mechanics report is that the motor is missing half of the oil pan bolts, causing there to not be enough oil pressure.
Here is what BIG A said about it:
"The bolts came with the engine sir letting the shop / customer know to inspect and replace the gaskets as the bolts were in a bag attached to the engine. Nowhere does it say in our Terms and Conditions we will replace the gaskets on the used engine we sold you."
THEY REMOVED THE BOLTS IN THE OIL PAN!!!! THEN THEY SENT THE MOTOR AS AN 'OPEN CRATE'. THERE WERE NOT BOLTS ATTACHED TO THE MOTOR OR ANYTHING THAT SAID......"HEY, WE REMOVED THE BOLTS FROM THE OIL PAN SO YOU'LL BURN IT UP AND WE WON'T HAVE TO WARRANTY".
BIG A no longer responds! BUY YOUR MOTOR SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I had read all the reviews on this company. Every company has their bad reviews, but these guys are just flat out BAD!

Bait and Switch scheme
An engine I negotiated from $1995 to $1745 suddenly sold hours before I attempted to buy it after it was there for a week. They tried to sell me another engine with 20K more miles than the first engine for $1995; even though I was informed the day before the first engine was the only one they had. I asked to pay less or at least the same as the first one ($1745) since the second engine had more miles. They sent a quote again for $1995 stating I was never offered one for $1745. When I e-mailed them a copy of the $1795 quote they responded with an e-mail stating they can't work with me anymore. It's a bait and switch scheme they have going on and I busted them so now they drop me. AVOID this company at all costs.

This is THE WORST company I have ever dealt with!!!
Don't believe their website. They DO NOT provide good customer service and DO NOT provide good customer satisfaction. I have never been treated so badly as I was treated by the Warranty Manager. After yelling at me, he eventually hung-up on me.
DO NOT BUY FROM SW ENGINES!!!! You will regret it if you have any problems at all with your purchase.
