Damaged Goods and Underhanded Sales Tactics
In my first ever order, one of the items that was advertised as "Brand New" arrived damaged and had clearly been opened and re-packaged to LOOK new. I decided to give them a second shot, and noticed they were doing a 40% off sale for Earth Day. I spent an hour shopping, adding this and that to my cart. When it came time to check out, the coupon code for 40% off applied successfully to ONE very cheap item in my cart, and nothing else. It turns out everything else in my cart was classified as a "new arrival" or a "hot brand" and therefore didn't qualify for the promotion. Well, you've wasted my time for the last time Swap.com. I had hoped this would be a nice way to scratch the thrift shopping itch during the pandemic, but this business is shady. Never again.
