If you are buying a ticket for your 16…
If you are buying a ticket for your 16 year old kid make sure to understand that you must also buy yourself a ticket whether you plan to cook too or not.I “misunderstood” this and my 16 year old was unable to take the class I purchased a gift for his birthday last month. I was there as an adult to accompany him only because he’s a minor but was told I also had to pay for my ticket. They showed me that on the website it’s says paying adult must accompany the minor. When I offered to pay my ticket they told me the class was full. They were unwilling to give store credit or a refund. The chef and the escalation customer service consultant were not empathetic. The assistant manager of the store and the first customer service representative were kind and empathic of the confusion and the situation but it was out of their hands.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Gloria. We sincerely regret the frustration you encountered with your cooking class reservation. Individuals aged 14 - 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult, as it is stated in the class information, which means that the adult has to purchase a seat for the class as well. Unfortunately, the class was sold out and there were no more spaces available for purchase. Since the information is available and visible on the website, and we require a 48-hour notice to cancel or exchange a class, we can no longer provide you with a refund or credit. We will review the wording on our website to make our policies clearer and more visible going forward to avoid any confusion.
