Several years ago, I posted a Google review for this company that was known at that time is Allied propane, which was a fantastic company to deal with and very caring about their customers. Over the past 2 to 3 years since superior took over the business has plummeted in public relations. I have ran out of propane, I have had leeks, I have called for refills well in advance, and still was bumped several times in the scheduling without being notified. Now with pending storm, my tank has been in need of a full that I called about two days ago. Now I’m being told it could take up to 21 days. I’m waiting for a supervisor to call me back for concerns, I’ve been told they aren’t returning calls today.

Absolutely disgraceful customer abuse. As proof that they do not even monitor the contact site, I cancelled my account three weeks ago after countless attempts to get propane or a human (other than call centre ) response/schedule. The delivery showed up today. two days after a new propane supplier had installed new tanks. 44 days after my first request for a delivery and 31 days after the "scheduled " delivery that was never met. Did not have use of the fireplace over Christmas due to low propane. Started cooking on our camping stove three weeks ago, had no heat source ( the propane fireplace) when the power was out after a storm. Our attempts to get service were completely ignored...no return calls or emails....disgusting. This appears to be the Inferior Propane company business plan......DO NOT EVER GIVE THESE PIRATES A CHANCE TO USE YOU.......

I Called the the location near me to get help with my gas logs not working, and I needed someone to come out to find the problem, because we have an ice storm coming this weekend, and that’s my only reliable heat source. I was on hold about 20 minutes before someone finally answered. I told the lady my problem, she told me the tech would call me back, because she was on a call. Never received a call back. So I decided to call back and was still on hold another 30 min. I finally hung up the call. Apparently there customer service needs an upgrade to people that are concerned with their customers needs and try to help you. I will be looking into another propane gas provider that will actually pick up the phone when you call them and not have to listen to there recorded advertisement for long periods of time, just for them to finally answer to tell you someone will call you back. Crazy🤬

Superior announced a new Smart Tank and Guarantee recently. So far I think their algorithm and policy are flawed. I have been awaiting a delivery for 10 days. Started at 20% to receive notices of a delivery so thats fine. Still no delivery and down to 12%. In a cold snowy area with frequent power outages its not safe to gonthat low especially if a big weather event moves in. You can only call a central call centre. Call takers for the last 3 days have been unable to speak to dispatch or anyone who can provide a reason for the delay or when delivery is expected. They promise they have left messages. They should be able to pull up the GPS system all the trucks have and speak to the local provider. Even a simple call back or email with some updates would be a good idea but its like a big void as you can't speak to anyone local. Trust? Not a chance.

I was a customer of Quarles Propane in Fredericksburg VA, Quarles provided excellent service, when I called I could always get through in a few minutes and delivery would happen in a few days. Quarles was bought by Superior and things have really deteriorated, it's clear Superior isn't. I called January 6, 2026 for a delivery, I was on hold for 1hour and 58 minutes before someone answered. It's January 20, 2026 still no delivery. I called this morning, on hold for 45 minutes and a very cordial and understanding rep apologized for the wait and said I would gat a delivery tomorrow, I guess we'll see.

Have been charged 123, dollars and some change for service !2 -1-25 to 12 - 2-25 how does this make any since? I have tried to call only to be told they have to send a message to the meter guys. The meter guys never return my call. I tried to pay online only to have no payment go through and be charged a late fee but they somehow have all my payment information on file . I would like to get this addressed in a timely manner but can not seem to get any assistance. I sent an email and I am hoping to hear back quickly about this issue. I may have to file a report with the better business bureau.

They charge a much higher rate than local companies. If you call and complain they will reduce the price per gallon. As a loyal customer, they should provide propane a competitive price for your location without having to haggle every time you need more fuel. I would not recommend using Superior and you look for a local provider!

First, last winter the forgot about me. Two weeks went by and my tank was down to 2%. I called back and the got the propane to me. This year, I got a bill for 50.00 bucks for no reason so I called. The lady told me it's a yearly fee that hasn't been issued until now and I needed to pay it to keep my 1.99 price. I needed more fuel last week so I called after several days trying to get through and the lady I spoke to told me that wasn't the case so I ended up spending 2.19 a gallon. I hope that 50 bucks was worth it because they just lost a customer. I'll be cancelling my contract this July. I'll see about that 150 dollar fee they are expecting me to pay to get the tank off my property, smh very disappointed
