We've run out of propane yet again - third time. The delivery was supposed to occur today but did not take place. The driver's excuse: cannot access driveway! This was absurd. There is no problem with our driveway: amazon, canada post, and guests have been able to do so. If there was a problem, the driver could have knocked on our front door...but he did not. Superior bought out our local propane provider and the service we received ever since has been deplorable. We are looking for another propane supplier. If you are considering Superior as your supplier, don't...

This is the seventh time they have said they would show up to refill our tank and not shown up. When I follow up, I'm spoken to as though my experience is an isolated exception, and reassured that they will show up on the next date, which they don't show up on. There is no accountability, no tracking system for issue management and resolution... They are winging it with ad hoc processes. This is a "Big Brand" that has no "Big Brand" customer experience, and no appetite to create one, and no appetite to improve. It's all lip service as they ride on the fumes of their brand.

This is a prime example of when a corporation gets too big and only cares about profit. "due to unusually heavy call volume" is the message you will get as you are being put on hold for hours on end...unusually heavy call volume because their too cheap to hire actual people to answer phones. I'm sure that its now being run by a private equity firm whose only concern is their bottom line and as to weather or not you freeze is not there problem...profits ARE! avoid them like the plague!

Zero star if I could ! Unbelievable !! I was scheduled with my autofill for early last week .. it never came .. no cook stove - no hot water - no fireplace .. 4 calls in .. still no propane !! All over Christmas & now heading into New Years ! No showers !! No bathing !! No stovetop !! I will be pulling this shit service asap .. no excuse ! Cannot speak to anyone higher up ! Agents kept saying they would prioritize to dispatch level & I would get a call ! Never got a call ! Cannot speak to dispatch ! Still no hot water a week later ! Pathetic !

I have never given a company a negative review as I’ve never had service this horrible in my 30+ years of being an adult. I must however, warn others of the abysmal customer service and wait times. I will endeavor to notify every agency I know, that Superior Propane is unethical, has higher than average prices, is non-transparent in their billing and service practices and are ill-equipped to run a company of this sort. I have been on the phone for 2.5 hours - yes 2.5 hours and still have not spoken with a customer service representative. I called a local propane provider and will be switching to them ASAP. We’re at 30% and could not get a fill prior to that yet have been charged a minimum usage fee of over $200. This was not made clear to us until I rcvd a bill. The first year, they credited us back the charge because so many customers were complaining about the change without proper notification. I was charged another $200 this year but haven’t been able to schedule a delivery as I can’t get in touch with anyone. This is absurd. Please don’t use this company - they are charlatans and should have their business license revoked.

I am currently on hold with Superior Plus Propane and have been for 2 hours and 5 minutes. We are almost out of propane and requested a delivery last week. Still no delivery. This is beyond ridiculous and is unacceptable customer service. We have been their customer for 25 years and this is coming to a close! Business lost!

Should have had a delivery when tank was at 20%. Have watched tank closely and now at 11%. They wanted to make a delivery on Dec. 23. Would run out by then. Spent hours on the phone this week. Requested a call back and never got a call. Numerous calls were a waste of my time. They wanted a delivery fee to send out a truck when they should have delivered at least two weeks ago and did not. The problem was Superior's and not ours. Refused to pay the extra fee. Supposed to be here on or before Dec. 17th. We will see. Thirty seven years approximately with Superior and every December there has been an issue. Researched and found the President's information. Sent an email indicating this is a formal complaint. Customer service has degraded greatly over the years which has been my personal experience. Superior used to be very good but now the rating should be a zero. Never received a response from the President. Spoke with two representatives from Superior to date. They are supposed to fix the cable on the smart monitor and I keep reminding them of this. No fix to date.Be sure to complain often, I got a reduced rate per litre on my propane which did actually happen as I am a high volume user. Today, Jan. 16, 2026 I was enrolled in Customer Loyal Rebate for long term customers of 3% as of this day. Apparently something new but I did not get the email about it as I was told. No confirmation received. Requested a top off my tank refill at 49% via mysuperior and rep had nothing on the account that I did that. I will be doing top off requests freqently regardless of their promise to monitor my account. At 30%, I guess I will be on hold again. As per website 30% 20% and 15% my order had better be on the truck to be delivered!

They are by far the worst waiting weeks for delivery
