Been using superior Propane services for the last 3 years. Never had a problem until this winter 2025/2026. Their smart meter doesn't seem to be reading updated amount of propane on the tanks. Often it shows 1 day old reading, and therefore not able to request delivery within a reasonable time frame. This winter it's been extremely cold and had to filled tanks more often then previous years. And, it's been so stressful to deal with this company. Each time I need to fill up, I had to endure over 1hr wait time on the phone only to get a robotic answer from the agents. They just don't have the capacity to reassure when propane will get delivered. No matter what you tell them, they come back with the same robotic answer..."we know what you use the propane for. You will not run out of propane. We don't know when the driver will be in your area." Meanwhile, the tank smart reader showing 7%, 19 hours ago. I'm done with this company. Time to look somewhere else.

We’ve been customers for four years. They started off fine, but over time their service has completely collapsed. What we’ve experienced recently is, without question, the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. We ordered propane almost four weeks ago. At the time of ordering, we were explicitly told it would be delivered within 10 days. That was a lie. We are still waiting. It is currently 15 degrees, we are dealing with below freezing temperatures , and we do not have propane. When we call to ask where our delivery is, we’re told there is no schedule, no timeline, and that it will “get there when it gets there.” That is not an answer—especially when you’re responsible for keeping people’s homes heated in winter - and having use of hot water. There is a complete lack of planning, communication, accountability, and basic human concern. No proactive updates. No ownership. No urgency. Just shrugging and excuses while customers are left in dangerous conditions. If you’re considering Superior Plus Propane, understand this: when you actually need them, they may not show up—and they won’t care. We are actively looking for another provider and will never recommend this company to anyone.

Would rate zero if possible. Have a standing order for propane for nearly two weeks, have been out of fuel for 3 days sub zero temperatures coming in tomorrow and they say they can try and get us a delivery on Monday, it is now Friday. Completely unacceptable.

The company freeman used to be great superior is the worst Can’t wait to change companies Down to 8% tried for 3 days and held 41 min 56 minutes 38 Min No answer on emergency line Sent them message and email no answers and disconnected 2 times Absolutely the worst service possible

I’ve been needing propane for 4 days now.. called every day for 4 days.. always on hold.. one was for an hour and 20min. Tell them I’m going below 20 percent and all they say is “ we will put in a ticket for you.. not saying when they will come out “ Really! Have to keep temp down low so I don’t run out.. I have no money to pay for broken pipes.. if I run out. They will definitely get the bill.. lawsuit coming! Still waiting! Sandy in Wescosville

J'ai passé 1 heure au téléphone avec un représentant qui m'a informé que je devais consommer plus de propane et passer plus de commandes au risque de me faire couper et qu'ils viennent reprendre leurs réservoirs. On m'a aussi informé que la compagnie avait opté pour une stratégie de servir les gros consommateurs uniquement. Je comprend la stratégie mais je ne suis pas en accord avec la façon cavalière de se débarrasser d'une partie de sa clientèle.

worse company i have ever dealt with in my 79 years. Did online request for propane delivery, no confirmation so tried calling 3 times and emailed 2 times. Stayed on hold on phone 40 minutes 1 hour and last call 30 minutes, still haven’t talked to anyone. No email response. No longer my supplier, don’t use them again f you need anything, absolutely terrible customer service service.

If i could give negative stars i would. We have been using Performance Propane which seems was bought out by these people and has totally destroyed everything. What a joke this company is. now you have to prepay to get propane rather than filling it up completely. i was told 125 gallons 2 weeks before. Finally they show up, only 100 gallons. now i am at 55%!!! so we pay a delivery fee 2 times now to fill it up!! what a joke. You lost 2 customers over this!
