Great decision. Since having SunPower solar panels installed we’ve only had one electric bill that was more than the $8 per month connection fee and it was the winter month we had a fair amount of snow and overcast. Through the summer when demand is high for central air we are producing over 125% of our energy needs on average.

I especially appreciated the quick response Sun Power had to all my questions and concerns … highly professional… highly recommended.

Sales team contacted us and presented options for our consideration. After our selection a schedule was presented for our convenience. Some of the anticipated timeline was not met nor were we kept informed. ONLY by the intervention of our assigned sales rep were we able to move forward. When installation was scheduled it came about as a very smooth effort. The actual install team was incredible: professional and efficient. Next came the cut-over process which was a somewhat less than efficient. However, the the inefficiency was NOT due to SunPower and was overcome. Thus far we are pleased with our decision to use SunPower and have successfully recommended them to several neighbors.

So I do go about the registration and what was the minimum amount to deposit..

I bought a new home, who had partnered with Sunpower. Sunpower does not provide market financing products, there is no PPA finance option only a fixed lease or a purchase and ridiculous financing rates (as you will pay 3x the purchase price and still have to pay the “residual” value likely to be north of 20% of the original purchase. The activation process was not any better, they do a remote activation, but do not give you notice to make sure everything has been setup and turned on for the process. They also claim to monitor the system to ensure proper function, however they did no such thing. I had to monitor the system and hound them constantly to get them to visit. After a month post activation I still have no production! Sunpower has terrible processes and does not care about its customers nor the environment, if they did they wouldn’t install systems that don’t work

I bought eight 440 watt panels that came with Enphase 7 micro inverters. The micro inverters were rated at 384 watts. That means my 440 watt panels were restricted to a output of 384 watts. I paid extra for the 440 watt panels and my system was advertised to supply 3.5 KW. The maximum output of my 3.5 KW system will never be greater than 3.07 KW. I calculated my KW requirement to be at 3.5 KW. Now I am at 13 percent under my requirement. Company representative had no answer to my system under performing

We had issues with our solar with in a couple of months after activation. Made so many calls and emails back and forth and they never sent a technician on-site as promised and it's been 3 months. Now they are asking deposit to send a technician. I never expected such kind of response from a reputed company.

This company feels like a scam me and my wife cant even get a hold of this company on the phone and we were told that one of the panels might be broken, we paid them and never had gotten a response back nor the panel to be fixed or replaced. We are getting frustrated, these are brand new panels, well a couple years old but you'd think they would be under warranty but we were told no. What a shame of a company to not be customer friendly
