Our Co-founder and Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Tory Waxman started Sundays as a solution to her own everyday problem: She couldn't find a dog food that was as nutritious and fresh as home-cooked meals and as convenient as dry food. And that’s how Sundays, the first fresh, air-dried food of its kind, was born. Our mission is to make it easier to be an awesome dog parent. We take the headache out of fresh food, making a nutritious and affordable solution that does require a fridge or freezer like leading raw and frozen brands. Sundays has the cleanest ingredients around; is 100% human grade; and has a Customer Care Pack who love dogs as much as you do, and are available every day for you and your pup!

After seeing several pop-up ads, I ordered and was charged roughly $29 for a 4 lb bag. It completely slipped my mind that when placing this order I had signing up for a subscription, so received the second
4 lb bag and was charged $126. They do not give refunds after first order. My dog did like the food but over $30 per pound is an outrageous price.

worst Subscription experience ever
The only reason I would give this dog food a one star is because my dog actually ate it. Worst subscription experience ever. In the beginning I was receiving a bag of dog food every two days!!!!!! so then I had to pause my account by the way, those four bags lasted my dog a little over a month, which was apparently supposed to last the dog 4 months, so they are liars when it comes to the dog food last. Then when I tried to restart my subscription, it takes them over seven days to get the dog food. My dog then had diarrhea so I started making my own dog food. The only good thing that came out of this whole shitty experience.

After endless pop ups on YouTube
After endless pop ups on YouTube, I caved in and ordered their trial package. It took forever to arrive ( weeks ) and even before it arrived, they were preparing to send out another shipment and charge me for it !! I wrote them straight away and told them not to do so, as the trial pack has not even arrived and you are so quick to try to send me more.
My dog turned her nose up at it, and it is incredibly expensive ( and this is coming from someone who recently spent $ 105 on Orijen from Chewy's for a 23 pound bag )
No from me ( and Mia and Gretchen )

Wish I never signed up
I am so sad for my dog because he liked this food and he's picky, but it's almost like they go out of their way to lose customers. Worst customer service, ignored texts and emails, you have to follow up on every request 5 times, they'll withhold your money, charge you for orders that are nowhere near about to ship, and shipping gets consistently delayed for weeks with no notification unless YOU reach out. I wish I never signed up with them. Pretty annoyed at the pet influencers too that push this company without taking into account their numerous poor reviews.

Bad experience, but eventual resolution
Update: When Sundays for Dogs got my email, they did reply and it was very apologetic. Not only that, but they refunded the amount of the dog food in full, and I was not expecting that, so I am very grateful. They also said to just refuse the shipment, or to keep it if it had already arrived. It had arrived the day before they responded, so I also appreciate them not making me go through hassle of shipping it back to them.
That said, I received excellent customer service...once they actually got to me. It took 5 days from the first moment I contacted them to receive any communication at all. And, while I am grateful for the refund, it was well after Thanksgiving that it appeared back into my account, so I was still unable to buy the Thanksgiving meal that I had planned. Bottom line is, being friendly and helpful is a hallmark of good customer service, but timeliness is essential to it. On the bright side, the representative said, "I know this was a frustrating experience and it's one that we will learn from." I hope that is true because the food itself is quality, so if they can get that very important aspect of the business in check, along with giving people FAR greater notice if they're going to charge their account twice in one month, I think it would be an excellent company.
I'm on a plan where my dog's food is delivered every 33 days. I just got my last order 10 days ago, on November 12, as expected. Yesterday, November 21, I opened my email and saw a message from them saying my next order was placed. I was like, "what the heck?!" I hadn't checked my email for a couple of days, so I scrolled down and found an email from the 19th saying they were shipping early to "get ahead of the holidays". It also said, "Too soon? Edit your order until December 2nd." I immediately went to their site in a panic because I had just paid $217 and sure as heck couldn't afford another $217 just 10 days later. But, I had no option to edit it because they'd already charged my card and said the order was shipping tomorrow (now today). They gave a phone number, so I called, but it was too late in the evening. They also gave a number that said "text anytime", so I did, explaining everything I just did above, but got an automated reply. It was late, so I figured they'd respond in the morning. Nope. But I'm sure they've seen it because I texted again, "Hello???" and this time I didn't get the automated reply...just no reply at all. And, when I went back to the website to find the contact information again, it now says, "Our phone lines for calls are currently down".
I agreed to shipment every 33 days, NOT every 10 days because they arbitrarily decide that they want to "get ahead of the holidays". After just having spent $4,000 in vet bills the last two months, I have been severely strapped. But, the cause of those bills is also the reason I needed to get my dog on a food like Sundays. So, it's already almost undoable paying that extra $217 a month, but by charging me twice in one month, ~20 days ahead of schedule and with no communication except an unexpected, extremely short notice email, and no way to get ahold of customer service, they literally just took the Thanksgiving dinner I was going to buy this weekend off of me and my husband's table.
I am a former LVT and still have many friends in the veterinary community. I will be sharing this experience with all of them.

My order was never delivered
My order was never delivered. I ordered two separate foods for my dogs and one was delivered by UPS. The other was supposed to be delivered by the Postal Service. I got a notice stating it was left at the mailbox. The package is too big to be left at the mail box so that was a lie. Reached out to Sundays for Dogs and they said it was delayed. How was it delayed and it is supposedly delivered? They never refunded my order nor sent another bag. Never by from this company.

Too bad - Sadie loves the food
My dog Sadie loves the food, but due to the inconsistency with shipping I’ll have to find another food. I contacted customer service to confirm that I would actually receive enough food to cover the month since their recommendation amount was to feed a 70 lb dog and my dog is 96 lbs. I requested my next order to go ahead and process on Nov 13. It showed shipping as the status, my cc was charged on Nov 14, making me think it has shipped. I even received a text saying the order processed. I’ve been trying to contact the company via phone, text and email for a few days. Finally today I received a text saying the system had placed a hold on my order and would I like to proceed with the order. I responded that I need it and that was why I ordered it. Now no response from anyone. I don’t like changing her food and she has a sensitive stomach but I’ll be out of food and have no choice. Too bad they can’t get their operations / customer service fixed to match their product.

The reason for this review is…lack of any customer service and charged for product never received.
The reason for this review is their customer service. I believe that the company is in trouble. They charged me for a product on November 9 that shows shipped but no tracking number as of 11/20. There has been no response by text, only availability for four hours by phone and no response from there either. I’ve also emailed multiple times in two days with no response. My dog is now out of this food and now I have to switch to something else abruptly. The food is good, however I would be hesitant to use them as they are very inconsistent with their customer service.
