Worst service, I order shoes and wait for a week to get updates, it turns out that my item was out of stock and after a week and a half they offered me a refund just because I checked and not because their customer service contacted me

Ordered on Dec 9. The item never shipped. I sent 2 emails to customer service, and got no response to either one. Just went on Live Chat and found out that it's on backorder until February. It's Dec 21, and I don't have a present for this person. Horrible. I expect so much more from Sundance. I think I'm done done done with them.

I was a banner catalog subscriber and have ordered since the 1990s. This company has gone downhill fast. I don't know if it's new ownership, but I'm still waiting for my return to be processed and have been gaslit every step of the way. It's been months. I finally filed a complaint on the Utah BBB, and that got a response. Sundance's new server is Shopify which explains a lot, no more filters, larger than needed picture tiles, issues with ordering. Their customer service used to be good, but it's very poor now. I will never order again. The quality of their merchandise has also declined but not their prices. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH A RETURN, FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE UTAH BBB.

I’ve tried multiple times to order online and use a couple gift cards I have. Every time I try to enter the gift cards numbers I get an error message that they are unable to “fetch data”. So I’ve also called to try ordering by phone and the reps tell me they can’t take the gift cards because of “computer issues”. But those computer issues are apparently ongoing because I heard the same excuses one month apart. I was told I could pay by credit card and that they would then advise the supervisor so that the supervisor could reimburse me for the value of the gift cards. WHAT???!!!! I said no. I also submitted complaints online. No response. Next step for me is to contact my state’s attorney general.

Worst customer service EVER - that is IF you can actually reach someone. I returned a sweater which they received nearly a month ago and I have yet to receive a refund. After repeated calls and lengthy hold times, my only recourse was to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Had I read the reviews of others' experience I would not have ordered! I hope this review will prevent others from having a similar, incredibly frustrating experience.

I placed an order for boots on Sept 9 - they were back ordered to 10/24. Having received no communication I contacted in mid November and they informed me the boots were expected in early December. It is now Dec 15 and when I contacted via chat was a told the item is available but there is an issue with my card so it is on hold. Meanwhile no communication from Sundance at all to update or resolve. I was instructed to call customer service instead of assisting to resolve and send the item. I just cancelled the order I have been waiting more than 3 months for without any communication. What nonsense will never shop with Sundance again

My experience mirrors so many here. A) a return about which I’ve received zero confirmation or refund to my account even though chat customer service states it has been received and credited. B) backordered items that were never communicated about in any way, one hour on customer service calls, speaking to me as if I don’t understand technology, and a subsequent extra charge for shipping on the two things that did arrive following my cancellation of the missing items. We’ll see if my credit card is even credited before I have to call again. C) the customer service agent had no way to email me the copy of the order changes… “This happens in another department…” What??? It’s hard to imagine how Sundance has fallen so far. I won’t ever order from them again. Who has time, energy, money, or goodwill for this kind of business?

The latest catalogs are truly awful, utterly boring, uninspiring, generic and soulless. The photography is awful, the models are dull, the creative beauty that is/was Sundance is totally missing!! What have you people done with this hideous rebranding? I have been a loyal Sundance customer for 14 years and I can't imagine that Robert Redford wouldn't be turning over in his grave to see what's happened to his beloved brand (and yes, I know he can't turn over in his grave because he's still very much alive!!). Sundance has never just been about the merchandise, rather it's always been aspirational and unique. Whomever is spearheading this new direction needs to go. Did anyone at corporate even compare the catalogs from a year ago to now? The one I just received went straight into the garbage it is so badly produced. If you keep this drivel up, y'all will have succeeded in in fostering the demise of a unique and beautiful brand!!
