Summit Racing EquipmentReviews of summitracing.com

I have been waiting on a toolbox for over 4 months and decided to ask for refund! I could have rode my 10-speed there and back and picked it up from where it was supposed to be shipped (inside USA) 4 or 5 times already!! COME ON??¿¿!!🤔😡

Ordered a new hitch cargo carrier from Summit, but instead got a used item that was dirty, broken & rusted. I called to report this that same day. We ended up having to pay more through another retailer that I had to make a last minute drive 45 miles each way to pick up, so that we could leave on schedule. When I called Summit, they told me I could return the item upon our return. After our return, I first chatted online with a representative who sent me a return label and said I would be reimbursed when they got the item back & that I could drop the item off at a UPS store or request a pickup. So after all the inconvenience and extra expense, and having never received the item I ordered (just a piece of broken & rusted junk that I then had to spend more time/effort to return), I go online to find out that a pickup would require a fee to UPS, because Summit did not authorize a pickup. After another long call with Summit, they authorized a prepaid label, but when they received the item, they charged me for shipping! This company is a joke.

I _WAS_ a Summit Racing customer, however, their customer service has gone to zero. I ordered some supplies that were "In stock. Ready to ship the same day" and it has been a week. They still have not shipped and when I enquired about cancelling the order they sent me a message saying it has shipped and sent me the tracking number as proof. Of course the tracking number they sent me shows it HAS NOT shipped. They just sent the tracking number thinking it would somehow keep me happy. This place was good now it seems they are a business with shady practices. Is it too much to ask to just be honest with your customers? I am never buying from them again. I will pay more for honest customer service.

I purchased an optispark for my 94 Corvette. It was totally defective and took 6 hours to install. Yes I was given a refund but I was charged shipping both ways. Buying a defective part from Summit Racing cost me 6 hours and $35. spoke to company rep only got excuses. Avoid these guys. Sell low quality merchandise.

On May 8th I contacted one of thier sales staff requesting some lifters for my 2012 Hemi. Nobody else had them he called thier supplier who informed him they had lots on the shelf. So I decided to go with them and purchase these lifters and some other products. A week later I get an email saying that they're now back ordered and I will not be receiving them for 3 months. I canceled an order with comp cams who was going to have them within 3 weeks because thier guy told me he had them within 1 week. Then to top it all off thier refund took well over a week to get so I lost $60 in The exchange. All because thier guy fed me a line on product availability. So no lifters I had to go buy them somewhere else and I get to eat $60. Really good customer service.

I ordered some simple items, locking lug nuts and windshield wipers. Both items were indicated to fit my vehicle on the website but neither did. I will not be purchasing from Summit Racing again.

Ordering with summit always is exceptional, as everybody always shoes a lot of knowledge, help and the attitude to make impossible things possible - serious! Working together with Summit since 2007/2008, I have a lot experience in asking for "impossible" things, last moment or back-ordered parts, and nearly every time Summit had a solution. Still, this time I had a very nice surprise with Kay, who made it possible to solve some really rare parts and delivery time problems, speaking with her several times, she did not forget me and put a lot of time into helping me, and she solved EVERYTHING!!! so I think this deserves a special review - THANK YOU KAY, you made my day !!!!!!!

Very professional. Highly recommened
