StukentReviews of stukent.com

I love this program! I believe it truly gives students a taste of real life without losing real money. I only have two minor complaints; 1) I don't like the way the budget is set up. I think the students should fill more of it out. and 2) The program glitches frequently.

Customer support team is fantastic! Always helpful!! Grading of the simulations seems a little off. Not sure how accurate the grades are on Mimic Social and the new Sports sim? Is it grading the responses from the emails; like in the Advertising sim? Overall, love your products! So valuable for my students and reinforces my content learned in class. Would love to see an Advertising book for high school level students.

Some textbooks have great contents. Yet some textbooks need to develop more/strong contents. Personally, I was disappointed with Integrated marketing communication textbook. Textbook contents are weak and with lack of description, there were parts that were not easily understood. Also, more contents for instructor lesson plan, and test bank would be appreciated. Besides those, the stukent platform needs major updates too. Many students had log-in issues. Also as an instructor, students' assignment submission dates were not available. Concerning simulation game, it is well made. Yet I wish if Stukent provide more detailed instructions for the instructor concerning winning strategies for the game.

Easy to use. Very detailed on the requirements.

Old and inaccurate data throughout, complete lack of technical aspects in line with certification exam I already shared dozens of screenshots of inaccurate information. Nothing was done to correct it. When you include information that is 5, 7 even 10+ years old (statistics) about social media, you are missing the boat.

I love the application aspect that the simulation brings to my classroom. Life happens is fun every week. My students love it and it adds energy and excitement to my teaching. I am still learning to utilize different aspects of the simulation and getting to know it better myself in year 2. This year I am implementing a job application process so that they complete a resume for a fake job and get promoted to a new job in the simulation (which I simulate with a recurring bonus). I wish the simulation did not require/reward modest credit card debt- that is one thing I dislike.

What I love about Stukent is that it builds upon prior knowledge. Students have to evaluate what succeeded in the last round and adjust their strategy.

worst educational software out there - terrible elaborations and instructions which are needed to complete rounds, limited resources, terrible software and customer service too - stay away!
