StukentReviews of stukent.com

For some students without previous Excel experience do struggle with some of the simulation functions. An excel primer would be a great feature for students to review prior to doing the simulations.

I really prefer this program over the other budgeting activities I have done. It is the most real-world program I have used and it throws in the unexpected, which parallels real-life. The students enjoy it. Further, I am not a tech-savvy teacher. Their support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly.

I LOVE Stukent. I think there are so many great things about it! Some of the new updates since last year have been great. I think it still could be more user-friendly. I sometimes struggle to navigate how things work, especially since it has a new version. Don't get me wrong, I still love this company, and the customer service is great too!

I am a long-term user of Stukent Mimic Pro and have generally been pleased with my experience until this summer. Now Mimic Pro has many issues and it tends to take forever to get a good response, and often times, the response are very superficial. The bot reminders are annoying. The company is becoming less and less serious about its core product - Mimic Pro and it seems that the company has quickly lost focus. I think the overall customer experience with their numerous new products could be equally poor. I'm starting to question my decision to continuously use Mimic Pro and may decide to move my textbook selection elsewhere.

Skukent's online materials are good and up to date. The simulations give students real-world results and help them understand the amount of work that goes into planning a social media campaign. Their customer service is beyond great. I wish they had more classes available.

Great experience with Skudent Mimic Social High School. Used as part of my Intro to Business and Marketing class. Kids really enjoyed it. I am now teaching Personal Finance and Accounting so I will review the Personal Finance module next year. Thx Nick

I love what the program does. I wish it had more rentals and homes to purchase without having to add them like the vehicles. It would be nice to have more assignments included with the teacher resources.

The Mimic Social Simulation updates are amazing! I appreciate how rounds are broken into categories, budgets are changed accordingly, and students get a real-world view of being a social media marketing manager. I am disappointed with the instructor provided content. The PowerPoint slides are filled with typos and grammar errors and there is no consistency in formatting. If I want to use parts of these slides, I have to completely rebuild each chapter. The test banks contain all questions already provided in the quizzes, have no application questions, and do not use Blooms taxonomy to scale for higher level thinking. Stukent is on the right track with their materials and they can easily be updated to be more useful for faculty.
