This is the third year I have used the STUKENT marketing strategies curriculum and mimic simulation. I love their content, the program set up, and the real life digital marketing simulation program that walks students through real life work experience and let's them use the knowledge that they learn in a real life setting. The industry certification that a student can get is an added bonus that students can take with them.

the question was 2 weeks ago. My class is just 5 weeks, and students only have 3 weeks for the simulation. I literally got the response when the simulation is over! Fine, I hope I can still use it for future students, but the support didn't answer the question.

The mimic simulation is great. The quizzes in the etext sometimes don't score correctly.

I’m not thrilled with the new interface -ebook makes me login several times. Students saying Ch 11-12-13 having problems advancing to the next page in chapters. Answers on quizzes marked wrong but student put the right answers

Stukent Personal Finance has a lot of potential but, as is, it is little more than pressing keys with little thought or learning, in my opinion. The budget is not really a budget nor are the "paychecks" realistic. Set up and maintenance takes a lot of instructor time. The only the kids enjoyed was the "Life Happens" but some events were totally inappropriate such as gambling...or almost racist....beaten by the short person of Asian descent or gender biased where going to a pot luck was clearly a female thing to do and more. There could be so much more that actually are real life situations like backing into someone and if they don't have insurance, they have to pay to fix the other car....etc. You can add events but there is more instructor time invested, as I said earlier. It is far too expensive to actually use in the classroom, until they are able to make it more of a learning tool.

Students love the real world simulation and they compete with one another when playing the stocks.

My students are enjoying the simulation. They like the idea of getting paid every Monday and having bills due on Friday. They also love the Life Happens activities. They look forward to the performance reviews so they can earn raises and raise their credit scores. They watch the stock market to see if they are earning or losing over time. I think this is reinforcing the skills we are learning in class.

There have been a bunch of issues from not being able to password reset, to having to email the company multiple times to get an issue resolved. I had to call two times, actually. Additionally, one of your tech support specialists ( I believe his name is Lyle) has a signature that reads, " Please ignore grammar or spelling errors as I embrace a non-traditional approach to the English language." I found that to be an embarrassment for an educational software company.
